So Valentine's Day is just a few days away and the school was decorated with hearts and red and white streamers. As if being here wasn't enough torture now it looks like cupid puked all over here. My first day back from my suspension and I wasn't that happy to be back. Sara and I paths hasn't crossed as yet but I'm sure it will very soon.
The halls were clearing up as students made their way to their respectable classes. I wasn't really in a rush and I took my time to get to class I think a snail could out run me. I neared the class but I heard soft moans coming from the janitor's closet. Maybe I should walk away? Or maybe I shouldn't. I held the knob in my hand and flung the door open I would have had a heart attack. When you think you know someone, there was Anna getting her freak on in the closet her expression went from shock to shame in just seconds. Who was this guy I hadn't seen him with her before.
"Well if this isn't a shocker." I smiled and closed the closet door. It's always the quiet ones. I walked into my class and sat in my seat trying to kill the images I just saw. The door opened and the teacher walked in. Oh God, why me? I guess God is punishing me for all the wrongs I have done. Anna's guy friend from the closet was my teacher he was relatively young. He spotted me and quickly turned away.
He began his lesson and I drowned out the sound of his voice. I looked at the clock and made a few drawing in my book. The class ended and even though I sat all the way at the back of the class I was the first through the door. When lunch time rolled around I was famished and on the brink of death.
The Cafeteria line was short and the girls were at the front now chattering away. I piled food on my tray and made my way to our table Anna looked at me and a look of shame was on her face. I sat and ate my lunch.
"So Daniella what do you have planned for Valentine's Day?" Maria asked me as I ate the last of my lunch.
"Nothing at all just going to sit and watch movies maybe." I shrugged my shoulders.
"You know there is a Valentine's Day party, but we aren't invited it's at Sara's house." Beth chipped in.
"Then why not have your own Valentine's Day party just for outcasts and social rejects and whoever else wants to attend. You could do it like costumed theme. I like costume parties." Costumes were my fetish.
"That's not a bad idea." Anna finally voiced out. She was afraid to look at me.
"Yes you're a genius." Beth clapped her hands and people started to stare at our table. "Sorry." She apologized.
"Oh my gosh, Daniella you could plan it after all it is your idea." Maria beamed at me. I did like arranging events.
"Yea sure why not, it's not like I have better things to do. You guys can help me." I looked at them and waited for their response.
"Of course." They shook their head in excitement.
The bell had rung signaling that lunch was up and that it was time to move to our classes. I walked into the class and with little surprise Sara and her boneheaded friends stared and me and I smiled and waved. The look on her face was unbelievable she looked at me with distaste and scorned and huffed. To say hilarious was just an understatement.
The teacher entered and started her lesson and Sara and her henchmen and women glared at me. The intercom came on and the class became quiet.
"Daniella Bleuoskii please report to the principal's office." The voice repeated it twice and I got my stuff.
"Well aren't I Ms. Popular." I muttered and left the classroom. The walk to office was quick and I sat in a chair waiting for the principal to summon me. His door opened and a young girl came out with a smile and nodded at me.
"Ms. Bleuoskii, you may come in now." He announced. I got up from my chair and walked into his office, dropped my bag on the floor and slumped down in a chair in front of him.
"So what did I do now?" I rolled my eyes at him.
"The gymnastic at our school isn't bad but it isn't great so..." he trailed off.
"So what your school team sucks big whoop. How does this affect me?" I asked icily. He shouldn't ask me to do anything after all he did suspend me.
"I'm asking that you join the team so we can win the prize money." Was he begging me. What was the money for?
"What's the money for?" I asked out of curiosity.
"Our school budget is maxed out and we usually fund the orphanage and the homeless shelter." He explained so it was for a good reason for the less fortunate. I was all for helping the less fortunate.
"Fine, I'll do it but with two conditions." I said.
"What are they?" he looked worried probably thinking it's something heinous. But that wasn't the case.
"I want to choose the days I can come and I also want you to know that my Saturdays and Sundays are my days when I don't have to deal with you people." My arms crossed I was grateful for my weekends.
"Is that it?" He looked surprised at my requests.
"Yes that's it what did you expect?" I challenged.
"Something more." He said.
"Like what?" I asked maybe I should ask for something out of the ordinary.
"I'm going to walk away from this conversation." He stood up from his seat.
"Yes that's a good decision." I stood ready to leave his office.
"Thank you for doing this." He smiled at me.
"Yea whatever can I go now?" I asked picking up my bag.
"Yes you may, and please keep out of trouble." He warned.
"Tell trouble to keep away from me." I walked from him. So gymnastics was a sport that was sometimes very painful and leotards riding up your nether regions and a lot of falling but it was for a good cost, for the less fortunate. So I'll pull out my leotards just once more.
