Last night I drew all the designs for the costumes and may I say they are the bomb completely amazing. It was now time for school I made myself a healthy breakfast and sat around the kitchen counter. I had to admit it I did miss mom's pancakes and omelets. No use thinking about mom when she isn't even here or coming back anytime soon. Reminiscing only makes me unhappy.
I placed the empty dish in the dishwasher and grabbed my school bag. I had a good feeling about today. I closed the door behind me and walked over to Maria. I wasn't doing this because I wanted to see Maria I was doing this because I really wanted to see Andre. I pressed the doorbell and the door flew open and a pissed off Maria was standing in front of me. She slammed the door and pulled me behind her she had a strong grip no lie.
"That jerk, I will get my revenge." She fumed. Did Andre do her something?
"What happened?" I asked with concern. Her grip on my arm had begun to hurt like crazy as she squeezed tighter.
"You know that I have been dating this guy..." she trailed off. In fact I did not know she even dated that's news to me.
"I did not but continue." I said.
"So we had plans on Valentines night to go out and then you know." She fumed and pulled me even harder. I am guessing her you know meant sex.
"Yes, so what happened?" I asked.
"He cancelled because he had a party to attend." She finally let go and I rubbed my poor bruised arm. Back to the main issue at hand that jerk cancelled because of some dumb party.
"The nerve." I fumed. "Want me to kick his ass?" I asked her with sincerity.
"I would but I would feel bad afterwards." She calmed.
"In all honesty I didn't even know you dated and did the you know." I said to her.
"Yes this guy and I have been dating for a while we have broken up and gotten back together many times. We have a love hate relationship." She explained.
"Do I know him?" I asked. Her body tensed and she started to fidget with the phone.
"I can't tell you." She let out. "But I really want to but I can't it's just beyond complicated." She babbled.
"There is a silver lining behind every dark cloud, we can have a sleepover. I have always wanted to have a sleepover we could sit and watch movies. It would be for just us girls." That sounded way too giddy. She looked at me in shock then answered.
"Sure I'll tell the girls." She smiled, the bus stopped and we got on and took our usual spot at the back.
The ride wasn't as quiet as I liked due to all the paper throwing and making out in the bus. They were disgusting the journey to school couldn't be any shorter. When the bus stopped at school Maria and I were the last to get off and again that Ryan guy was outside with two other guys that looked exactly alike leaning against cars.
"I think the Adams triplets like you." Maria whispered in my ear.
"Glad to be noticed." I said but I will tell the world on the top of my lungs that I did not like them. We walked pass them and I could feel their eyes watching me and it felt creepy.
"You should go out with one of them." She suggested.
"I'm okay." I told her. The bell had already rung and I dug through my bag and gave Maria the printed fliers for her to hand out to the rejects. We parted ways and I trudged to my class. I sat at the back and watched as the students piled in and the Adams Triplet were all in my class just great I won't let them ruin my day.
