There are just some times in my life were I wish someone would see the mask I wear. Just hold me and tell me everything will be all right and that I didn't have to hide behind the burden I have been carrying for months. And I really wish I had worn a jacket today I was freezing.

Tomorrow was the big gymnastic meet at school and we had worked our butts off to stick the landings. Sara wasn't going to be in the meet she was injured, her ribs and her nose surgery was on Wednesday so she is healing up. Training had gone seriously late today and I was still waiting on a taxi everyone else had gone. I dug through my bag and dialed Andre's number it rang then he answered.

"Hello." His voice was hoarse like he just woke up.

"Hey were you asleep?" I asked, maybe it wasn't a good idea to call him I should have called Maria for a ride. Her Ryan issue wasn't over yet she hadn't dressed up but she was grounded for skipping school, I bet her mother thought of me as a bad influence for her kids.

"I was about to." I heard him muffle a yarn. I'll just call a taxi or Maria then. "Are you okay?" he asked concern evident in his voice.

"Yes I'm great." I lied, I was freezing a sports bra and loose pants weren't really helping the situation and perverts might be looking for a victim. I wish they would come my direction so I could beat the hell out of them.

"You're not a good liar." He chuckled.

"I am too." I smiled.

"I beg to differ. Where are you?" he asked.

"I'm stranded at school." I sighed I didn't like bothering people.

"So late." He said.

"Yes tomorrow is the big day for gymnastics so training went a little later than usual." I explained. "I'm here waiting for a taxi but none has passed since the last hour." I continued, the line went silent and I stood there with the phone to my ears waiting for him to speak to me. "Hello?" I asked but the line went dead and I was left again with the street lights to illuminate the dark road. It wasn't really scary just a bit creepy.

A few minutes passed and at last I see a car coming up my way. Finally I hope it's not a mass murderer and a taxi. If it was a murderer I would ask him to buy me food then kill me because I was hungry as hell. The car stopped at my feet it wasn't a taxi it was a red Ferrari it could only be Andre. The door opened and he came out with a big smile and I felt my heart flutter, what on earth was that? That wasn't normal.

"Why did you hang up?" I asked him.

"I didn't I put you on hold, you were the one that hung up." He explained coming over to me and opening the door for me. He's such a gentleman, I really hope he wasn't like his friend Ryan. I really liked him and it would be a tragedy if he was a jerk like his friend. I slid in the car and put back my phone in my bag and placed it on my lap.

"You could have told me that you were going to put me on hold. I felt crazy talking to myself." I said when he sat in the driver's seat.

"My bad sorry for my lack of manners." He apologized; my stomach growled and he chuckled. "Where do you want to go and eat?" he asked as we drove away from the school yard.

"I am just going home and make something to eat." I said and sighed, the house was just lonely and cold, I was miserable.

"I'm feeling Pizza." He smiled and I turned my head from him. He was a nice guy and he deserved a better girl than me, he deserved on that wasn't so broken. I couldn't drag him down in the abyss with me he needed light.

"Andre..." I trialed off I felt hurt about what I was about to say.

"Mhmm." He focused on the road. "I didn't know you were so short and small, you look like twelve. Well not all of you look like twelve." A smile played on his lips.
