"No, no, no stop tickling me." I tried pushing him away, but my laughter has left me weak.
"Apologize." He tickled me.
"No!" I yelled.
"I won't stop until you apologize." He continued his torturing act.
"I want to pee." I laughed.
"Liar apologize." He laughed.
"I'll pee on the bed." I laughed until I had hiccup's.
"Apologize." He laughed.
"Fine I give, soccer is not a waste of time." I heaved, he hovered over me trapping me under him.
"And?"
"And what?" I acted innocent.
"The players." He hovered.
"Fine the players a remarkably amazing and are relevant to society." I said.
"That's my girl." He kissed my forehead my cut was almost healed I had been at Andre for almost three days my parents were still calling him every day, they even appeared on the news. I turned it off when they came on.
"Do you think I should go home?" I asked.
"Do you want to?" he asked.
"I think they have suffered enough." I sighed and turned on my stomach he laid on my back not putting all his pressure.
"I like having you here." He admitted.
"I like being here." I sighed.
"I think you should bury the hatchet." He advised.
"I'd like to bury it in someone's skull." I sighed. "But you're right as usual, when I go home I will talk to my parents and resolve this. I feel much better and my heart feels light and I feel really happy." We switched positions.
"Tears and cuddling are a good mixture." He said for the millionth time.
"So when should I go home?" I asked.
"I don't know."
"The sooner I do it the better my life will be, so tomorrow?" I asked.
"I'm going to miss our late night talks and the playing." I kissed his hair and then his neck. "Don't start things you're not going to finish." He warned me.
"Remind me to get you some lotion." I tease him.
"Very funny." He fell silent.
"What's wrong?" I asked moving his curly hair from his eyes.
"Can I ask you something?" he asked.
"You just did." I joked.
"No I'm serious."
"Okay ask away." He turned over and I was straddling his hands keeping me balanced.
"Do you believe in love?" he asked.
"Of course." I answered without hesitation.
"Have you ever been in love?" He asked.
"No, have you?" I asked.
"I am..." He trailed off when the bell rang.
"It's probably room service." I said and got off him. He walked behind me to the door. "The people in this hotel are super sweet." I smiled and opened the door but my smile fell as I saw the persons standing in front me I tried to slam the door but a very big hand stopped my action.
"Daniella please." My father begged.
"Danny please." Her voice was shaky. I still tried to push it shut but gave up and opened it.
"What happened?" My mother asked reaching for the cut on my forehead but I drew away from her and I say the pain in her face.
"We found your car." My father informed me. "We showed your picture around and finally a guy came up and said he dropped you off here a few days ago." He continued I looked at Daniel and I knew what he was feeling inside he was dying so I hugged him no matter how mad I am I can never be mad at him. We didn't speak we just hugged until I let him go and smiled.
"Don't you understand how we worried? We checked hospitals and morgues." He continued. He turned to Andre and I stood in front of him. "We called you and you said you didn't see her."
"I told him not to tell you I was here." I said at last. "He kept me safe, he bandaged my cuts and he let me cry on his shoulder he listened." I gritted my teeth. "How did you feel when you couldn't find me?" I asked them.
"I felt like I was being torn apart." My father admitted.
"That's how I felt when I talked about Danina, Andre has helped me and I realized it wasn't my fault, it wasn't my fault a drunk driver ran the light and hit us." I told them.
"I'm sorry I blamed you I knew it was wrong." My mother spoke up.
"I was mad, I resented you I was going to do you a favor and finish what the drunk driver started but it would have been pointless I would leave so many people with broken hearts and I don't think you guys would come back from this. So mom I forgive you and I hope you can forgive me." I said Andre held my hand and squeezed it.
"Yes, yes, yes." She hugged me tight like if she let me go I might fall to pieces.
"You're crushing me." I whispered but she didn't let go she just loosened her grip.
"I fear if I let you go I might not be able to get you back." She whispered.
"I'll always be here mom." I whispered and she let me go.
"Andre thanks for taking care of her." Daniel said to him. "Wait the tattoos are gone." He examined my skin.
"Yes, I scrubbed them off." I said.
"Thank God they are gone." My father said.
"I kept one thou." I moved the t-shirt off my shoulder it was an Angel with a broken wing.
"I like that one." My mother examined it.
"Still not fond of tattoos." My father said.
"It's just one we can survive with just one." Daniel said.
"Andre would you like to come to dinner tonight?" My mother asked him, I squeezed him hand.
"Yes ma'am." He smiled.
"Welcome to the family son." My father ruffled his hair. Son?
"Son?" I asked confused.
"One day you will understand." My father said to me. I turned to Andre and tipped on my toes to his ear.
"I haven't been in love but I find myself going down the path." I smiled up at him and a big grin broke out on his face. "I'll see you later?" I asked.
"Definitely." He continued grinning. "And so am I." I blew him a kiss and closed the door and walked behind my parents.
"What was that about?" Daniel asked.
"Nothing." I smiled.
My family might not be the model family that everyone sees on the television when they watch the fashion shows and business deals that we have to be present at. We are rough around the edges we bicker and fight. I can't help but love them even in the worse of time and I just hope and pray that they love me with all my flaws. The broken soul that is mending thanks to Andre Hill.
