harlee's pov:
four weeks later

it's been almost a full month since everything happened. and over this past month i know that I now have a life worth living.

with the best people possible.

because of our injuries javon and I finished up the remainder of the school year online, and next up is senior year.

javon, jaden, ethan, klai, kennedy, and I spend almost every second of every day with each other. and I truly wouldn't have it any other way.

they're all my best friends and they've been there for me through one of the toughest times of my life.

as for javon and I things are going better than they ever have. and at first, people from school were questioning the idea of me getting back with him.

but like my mom said, "it's not everyday you find a guy to take a bullet for you."

after knowing everything from his past and the real reason he hurt me, there was no way I couldn't not be with him.

and it all started because of a deal.

I'm forever grateful I took that deal.

my moms doing great too, her and tony are finally tying the knot this summer.

I never thought I'd see the day my mom got remarried, but I'm glad tony is the guy she chose. he treats me as if I'm his own and I haven't seen my mom this happy in a very long time.

jaden and kennedy also got themselves situated out and I think they're together more than javon and I are together.

which is a pretty hard thing to beat.

klai won't admit it but it's obvious she has a crush on ethan, and I've even talked to him about klai and you can tell by his body language how much he likes her too.

so now all we're waiting for is them to finally make it official.

once everyone heard about the accident from school javon and I were like the most talked about people according to klai.

she even said rylee wanted to come visit me, but she politely declined for me.

it's just weird how the entire school can go from downing on you one week, to being your biggest supporter the next.

but I think the best thing that's come out of these past six months is meeting dj.

dj,

since the day I met him I knew it was something about him that was just different from others.

the way he's so caring for everyone he meets, his humor, and his overall aura is like something I've never known.

and I'm happy to say he is completely healthy and living to his full potential.

seeing him be even brighter then he was before is something I didn't know was capable of happening but I'm so glad it did.
