She knew the darkness all too well.
She knew disappointment,
She knew damage,
She knew fear,
You would think she would not want to dive deeper into all of it
But she did and came out brighter than ever.
This is a story of a girl that fell in love!
She fell in love with the morally grey characters that littered her mind.
Characters from her emotion-filled books.
They pulled her deeper into darkness and fear
And yet through it all, she felt the light like she never had before!
Like that darkness was actually her light all along!
And then she realized:
Life isn't really about light or darkness, because nothing is absolute!
It's all about finding, the perfect shade of grey!
And the perfect shade for her could be found between the ink-filled pages of her books.
