I used to love hanging out with people

I still do

Just seeing them, talking to them, and having them next to me makes me happy

So I did 100% believe Aristotle when he said humans are social creatures.

Then

Then I made a complete 180°

An unexpected one might I add

I don't know what possessed me to read that book on a casual Monday noon that changed it all

But I'm so glad I did

Maybe the universe was done seeing me get hurt by other people,

So it decided it was time to teach me how to be content in my own presence.

It's so weird to think that such a social person lives and breathes books,

Because the first thing that reading teaches us is how to be alone.
