I like making choices,
Even if they're the wrong ones.
I love not just being able to partially dictate my future,
But the past and present too.
And yet I used to beat myself up for making the wrong choices,
Taking wrong turns,
Following the wrong paths.
And then I realized that if you don't make that choice,
-Whatever one that may be-
That you find yourself sulking over,
Not only about what could have been,
But also about what could never be.
So go ahead
Take that wrong turn
Twist and bend to make it to the end.
For disappointment of not even trying,
Is greater than disappointment in not choosing the right path and at the right time.
