Fresh air
Blistering sun
Hot breeze
Twinkling stars and bright blue skies
Best friends
Broken smiles
Concerts and surprises
Stressful work
Empty promises
Lonely in a full crowd
And poems for late night breakdowns
Painful truths
Irregular sleep patterns
Nothing new
And once again I smiled when I wanted to cry,
I stayed quiet when I had so much to say.
