Pablo's POV
Saúl's words don't leave my mind. He's only found negatives to Mónica and me being together since he found out about us and it's really pissing me off. He and my parents are the same...can't they just be happy for me?
When Mónica gets to my house, I'm still frowning and thinking about it.
"As cute as you look pouting, you need to stop. It'll give you early wrinkles".
"So you just love me for my pretty face?", I try to joke.
"Your body is alright too".
I see her putting her things down so we can spend the day here but...I don't want to do that.
"We're going out".
"Why?"
"Because we don't have to hide anymore, Mónica. We used to only hang out here or at your parents because our managers couldn't know about those dates but now they know so...".
"I guess you're right. I just got used to this. But sure. Where do you want to go?"
I wrap my arms around her and attack her face with kisses. She's always so understanding. I really don't deserve her.
"We were going to watch a movie. How about we go to the cinema?"
"I can't remember the last time I went to the cinema".
"Perfect then!"
Mónica parks at the shopping centre and when we get out of the car, I take her hand to walk with her inside. We've held hands in public before but not on our terms like today. Not when we just wanted to go out and do couple stuff like two normal teenagers.
I notice people looking at us, but so far no one has asked for photos.
"Out of 14 rows, in the center of the 12th?"
"That sounds ok, right?"
But I'm barely listening. I'm too focused on just hugging Mónica from behind and looking at her while she speaks to the lady that's giving us our cinema tickets.
"Pablo? Do you like those seats?"
"If you do, I do".
"We'll get those then, please".
It's so stupid but seeing her doing such normal things is...fascinating. We've been told what to do whenever we had a public appearance but this is us under our own rules. I can't get enough of it. It feels so freeing.
"We still have 45 minutes until the movie starts. What should we do?"
"I could...kiss you", I say, bringing her closer to me so I can do it. "And then maybe kiss you some more...".
"Pablo", she laughs. "We could have stayed home for that. Come on...let's go browse the stores or something. I haven't been to a shopping centre in so long".
She takes my hand and drags me to the first store she finds. And once we are there, I'm feeling all these fuzzy feelings again. I just love doing normal things with her.
"Sorry, can I have a photo with you two?"
We turn to see a girl looking at us expectantly. I want to say no but I get it. She doesn't understand the moment she's interrupting.
"Sure".
When it's done, she leaves telling us how much she loves us.
"I need to go to the bathroom before the movie".
"I'll go too".
I haven't moved from Mónica's side the whole time. And she looks at me amused.
"You can't go to the bathroom with me. Will you be able to cope with not having me by your side for 2 whole minutes?"
"You are so funny".
We enter the little corridor that leads to the toilets and I stop her from walking so I can push her against the wall.
"What are you...", but I silence her with a kiss.
My hands go under her hoodie, which is actually mine, so I can hold her by the waist and deepen the kiss. And we only stop kissing when we hear steps behind us and see an old man pretending we aren't there.
Mónica laughs and hides her face in my neck.
"That was so you don't miss me too much while you are away from me".
She shakes her head and walks towards her toilet. By the time she comes out, she's still all red and I can't stop my grin. She couldn't be more adorable.

PDA at the shopping centre
A few weeks ago we were worrying about our favourite young couple ending their relationship but it seems like we worried for nothing. Not only are Mónica López and Gavi still together but they also seem to be very much into each other.
The young Spanish international couldn't keep his hands to himself, according to the people lucky enough to see them on their cinema trip. And one of them also got us this video of their steamy make out session.
Mónica López was rumoured to have been doing very similar with fellow contestant and winner of this year's Operación Triunfo, Mario Sellés, but she denied it several times, despite Mario's hints that it did happen. But seeing this video begs the question. Did she deny being involved with Mario to protect the good girl image she's worked hard to build or was she really being honest? Whatever it is, she's clearly enjoying being not so good at the moment. And we are here for it.

"Saúl is blowing up my phone. Jesus, it was just a video of us kissing".
"Manu isn't happy either", says Mónica. And that worries me because he's been the one supporting us.
"Why?"
"This whole me not being a good girl thing. Doesn't fit his plans, you know".
I feel like throwing the phone to the floor so it smashes the next time Saúl calls.
"We've done everything they want!"
"Pablo, relax. It's not the end of the world".
"But I'm tired of this. Why is no one talking about the guy who decides to film us and sell it to the highest bidder?"
I just can't believe that it's come to that. Us not being able to leave the house because people will do that.
Mónica gets up and hugs me, which immediately calms me down.
"You said it when we met and I said I didn't want to kiss you. People won't buy that image but they'll buy this. The comments from people are overwhelmingly good. They know we are just young and in love".
I remember that conversation we had. "And horny?"
"Especially you", she chuckles.
"I don't see you complaining about that", I tell her, lifting her in my arms and taking her to the sofa.
"I guess that's because I'm a bad girl now".
