Sage pov:

"how are we doing tennessee?!" i hear wilbur say from the stage.
i hear the crowd scream. honestly i don't like crowds but this is nice, i feel nice.

"so our good friend sage is here to sing with me." he smiles at me.

"hi."

the crowd yells hi back and my cheeks flush under my mask.

"let's start with a old one so OG's you'll know this one!" wil strums the first chord and i immediately know what song it is, taunt.

"she's always asking 'am i alright'" he starts. "As if auspicious or in my pint,
I'll find the answer or a good night."

"Thank God the time is short." we sing together.

"And, yes, you always do that one thing," i sing, kinda nervous but i practiced the song like 5 times. "When you wrinkle up the nose bridge,
I'm trying to figure out what that meant,
I took it as a taunt."

"Remember way back then in school?" we sing together again. "Oh, did anybody ever say no to you?
oh, Did anybody ever say no to you Woah.
And I don't think I have a clue,
'Cause, well, did anybody ever say no to you? Oh, did anybody ever say no to you? Woah." we sing in harmony.

i'm happy i'm doing this, i'm excited that i can come out out of my shell, i'm proud of myself.

"You're always trying to leave the table." i do the second verse. "Phone calls, toilet breaks, unstable.
And don't you think that we can all tell?"

"You're insecure, you're insecure!" we sing together, and smile at eachother. probably getting a lot of pics of us together.

"I guess I always do that one thing," wilbur sings this time. "When I get too drunk and jump in.
To figure out what makes your brain tick."

"I'm a listener, I'm a listener!" we sing together again. "Remember way back then in school?
'Cause, well, did anybody ever say no to you? Woah, Did anybody ever say no to you?
Oh, But I don't think I have a clue, '
Cause, well, did anybody ever say no to you? Oh, does anybody ever say no to you? Woah." we smile at eachother, i know he can see my smile.

"Woo!" wilbur sings. he strums the little instrumental part.

"And I don't think so, 'Cause I don't think so." we sing together. "Forget the number for the cab call,
As you're dashing out the front door,
You claim to try to dodge the catcalls,
Thank God the time is short.
And, yes, you always do that one thing,
'Cause when you throw and drench me under your drink,
I'm trying to figure out what that means,
I took it as a taunt."

the crowd screams as the song ends.

the last song is sex sells, my personal favorite.

wilbur starts as usual, i honestly don't mind, it lets me get a feel for the tempo and key to sing in.

"You think he'd realize, But he's infatuated with ideas, Of possessions and far-flung social policy
His daddy works on the Council,
The missus loves the silver spoon.
Swore she'd never kiss a Tory, But this boy was too good to lose,
And I'II listen carefully,
With ears pressed to the floor,
As you make your way downstairs,
You haven't got far to fall
Now it's red, now it's dead, Now it's everything she needed,
Now it's four open doors,
Pillows pressed under your knees
Now it's a sad, sappy sucker
To ensure a happy ending." i hum the song while he sings.
