Sages pov:

i put on my freshly ironed suit and we begin to watch people get into their seats through the window.

my eyes follow wilbur as he makes his way to his seat. he's pretty.

"that's a lot of people." a small voice behind me says. elise.

"yeah."

"sometimes i get nervous when a lot of people come. this is one of those times."
she puts her head in her arms, watching the people from the window sill. "i'm scared to walk down the isle." shes the flower girl.

"you'll do great. i promise."

"what if i trip? and i fall and everyone laughs?"

"i'll beat up whoever laughs at you."

"can you stay with me? just until i have to go throw flowers."

"sure."

we walk downstairs and everyone is running around getting shit ready. elise clutches into my legs. "it's crowded."

"want to get on my shoulders?" i offer.

"really?!"

"your not in your dress yet so i don't see why not."

"you're the best tio ever!" she exclaimed as i bend down so she can climb on my shoulders easier.
when she's on them i stand up and she squeals excitedly. she leans toward my ear. "don't tell anyone but you're my favorite."

i smile and we walk outside, i wanted to meet wil.

"hey sage!" wilbur waves and walks toward us. "elise your a lot taller than you were when i last saw you!"

"uncle wilbur! i'm taller than you now!" she exclaimed excitedly.

"she called me uncle!" wilbur smiles and puts his hands on his mouth.

"you've been promoted." i laugh.

"is this what you see uncle wil? everyday?"

"yep."

"wow."

"i have a friend is even taller than me."

she gasps. "for real?"

"for real." wilbur responds.

"wow." she says in awe.

"want to be taller than your very short tio?" wilbur asks. "you can get on my shoulders."

"really??" she gasps and i kneel down so she can get off of me and she climbs onto wils shoulders. "woah! your tall." she looks around. "hi tio sage. your very short."

"i get that a lot." i look up at her.

"elise!" i hear ava yell.

"oh that's mommy. i have to go." elise turns and sees her mom staring at elise, holding a dress.
wilbur sets her down.
"bye guys! see you later!"
she runs to ava.

"she called me uncle." wilbur smiles.

i smile at his face. "do you think we have enough time to get an energy drink?"

"i mean it's starting in 30 minutes so i think we do."

"let's go!"

"also i got a rental car so we don't have to uber everywhere."

we walk to the car and we drive to a gas station.
