i woke up to the shower starting.

i yawn and rub my eyes.

i check the time 12:05. making good time.

i throw on an outfit and type in the address.

it's a wedding place that sells dresses and suits and honestly i'm nervous.

i start to pick at my nails, making the polish chip off.

"hey sage." wilbur had opened the door to the bathroom and hes drying his hair.

"hey wil! mabel said that we're meeting at the place at 1:30."

"ok! want me to drop you off?

"sure! if mabel says it's ok, i want you to stay."

"sure!" he smiles. "want to go get breakfast? we can get mcdonald's?"

"Yes!" we grab our phones and stuff and we walk downstairs.

i hadn't realized i was still picking my nails until i had started bleeding slightly. shit.

"we should get a car rental. it would be easier than getting an uber everywhere." wilbur says as he orders an uber.

"yeah."

we get dropped off at the mcdonald's.

we eat fast and walk to the place.

"SAGE!! hiiiii!!!" mabel and ava greet as we get out of the uber.

"hi mabel!!" i hug her. "hi ava!" i hug ava as well.

we walk in and it's a few of her friends but one i reconized; they looked familiar.

"sage?" they ask.

"yeah?"

"you don't recognize me?"

"you look familiar."

"i'm jaiden."

"jaiden!!" i gasp.

we hug and wilbur comes inside with mabel and ava.

"who's this?" wilbur puts his arm around me protectively.

"oh this is jaiden! we met in elementary and became best friends."
