Wilbur's pov:

we drive off and sage is still asleep, i lay beside him and hold him in my arms.

his cheeks lightly dusted with blush on his tan skin.
he's so adorable while he sleeps.

we get to the hotel and it's about the same as the first one we stayed at.
i get my stuff and sages stuff and put it in the hotel.

i walk back downstairs and see sage walking, half asleep, almost falling over but somehow not.

"wilbur?" he rubs his eyes and looks at me.

"come on sage let's get you to bed."

"mhm." he grabs my hand and i walk him back to the room.

i lay him down in our room and tuck him in.

"goodnight sage." i whisper in his ear, tucking his hair behind his ear.

"night." he whispers back.

"awwww love." ash says as i walk back to the other room.

"shut up." i laugh.

Sages pov:

i wake up to my ribs hurting really bad.

i wince in pain as i walk to the bathroom.

i take off my binder and i immediately feel better.

my chest still feels sore though, i really need a new one. what happened to my binder?
i threw away a lot of my old clothes before, i put them on my... on my... MY FUCKING CHAIR!
I THREW AWAY MY FUCKING BINDER?! HOW COULD I BE SO STUPID?!
WHY DID I RUSH MYSELF?! IF I HADNT I WOULDNT BE IN THIS SITUATION.

i sigh and pull out my blade and cut my wrists for being fat. for being stupid. for rushing myself.

i dab the cuts with a wet paper towel and walk out.

wilbur is still alseep and i fall back asleep wrapping my arms around him.

my binder starts digging in my skin while i walk around the walmart.

my breathing starts to get harder and i'm taking deep, fast breaths.

"hey are you ok?" wilbur asks.

"i need a new binder." i finally admit.

"it doesn't fit?"

"yeah, i think they sell some here though."

i walk up to an employee, wearing a small they/them pin on their apron.

"hi do you guys sell binders?" i ask.

"yes! over there." they point to the 'women's undergarments' 
'women's,' but i'm not a girl. should i even be here? why am i asking for a binder? this is stupid.

"also you're accent is cute! where are you from?"

"i'm from brighton, england."

"omg! my friend lives there," they smile. "my names aspen. but you prolly know that from my name tag." they chuckle. "whats your name?"

"sage. nice to meet you." i smile.

"that's so pretty! preferred pronouns?"

"they/he." i smile.

"ooh another enby!" they shake my hand.

i get another jolt of pain run through my chest.

"well i better get going. i needed a new binder fast."

"see you around sage!" they smile and wave.

"see you around aspen!" i wave back at them.

i grab my correct binder and walked back to find wilbur.

i find him and we check out.

"how long did you need a new binder?" he asks, walking back to the tour bus.

"since we left brighton." i sigh.

"what?! you need to tell me!" he says, shocked.

"i will i just-" i sigh. "we were busy and i didn't want to our myself to others that i'm gender-fluid."

"i know, tell me these things next time though."

"i will."

"promise me." he held out his pinky.

i hook my pinky with his. "i promise."
