"Why cant I marry Jon?"

"Because he is your brother." Ned corrected.

"No no no mother says it loudly and often. Jon is not your brother." Selma corrected. "Now why cant I marry jon?"

"Your mother would murder us all?" Ned offered with a shrug.

"At least I would die in love." Selma agreed dreamily.

"You are not helping here". Ned corrected shaking his head.

"Give me a real reason". Selma begged. At 13 she thought she knew best. Selma Stark knew without a doubt in her mind that she loved Jon and she would marry him one day. She just needed to get her father on board.

"Can we discuss this never?" Ned countered as he moved to the stables.

"Never? No." Selma corrected. "Where are you going? Are you running from this conversation?" Selma demanded stomping a foot in the snow.

"I am... not." Ned corrected. "I have to go. Come on Bran."

"Im coming. Let me come. Then you cant run from this conversation." Salem decided.

"Its not going to pretty Selma." Jon corrected coming up behind her. Selma smiled up at him. "Lord stark just wants to protect you."

"Would you protect me, Jon?" Selma questioned hugging him. Jon chuckled wrapping his arms around her.

"Of course I would. Which is why you should stay put." Jon informed her.

"Well alright." Selma agreed as he let her go. Ned rolled his eyes pulling himself up onto his horse. "Thanks jon."

"For what?"

"Being the best guy ever." Selma added. She blushed as he kissed her cheek.

"Bye Selma."

"Bye." She echoed still blushing as he headed off. "He's perfect..."

"Who?" Sansa questioned. "The prince?"

"What?"

"I heard the prince is coming, I bet he's perfect." Sansa gushed. Selma nodded watching Jon ride off. "Come on, lets pick out our outfits ahead of time, we have so much to get ready! Oh our dresses! We should finish making the red one, add some gold to it!" Sansa decided grabbing her twins arm and leading her back inside.

When the boys got back from the their ride Selma and Sansa were working on their stitches. Selma was making a little wolf while sansa was debating between a stag and a lion for her handkerchief, to show that she was the queen to be.

"Selma." Jon said with a knock. Sansa groaned but Selma dropped her needle and ran to him.

"You are back." She stated.

"I am, come into the courtyard-"

"Dont tell her what to do." Sansa sassed.

"Shut up Sansa." Selma hissed. "Whats in the courtyard?" Selma questioned grabbing his arm as they walked.

"Come on." Jon requested.

"Is Bran alright?" Selma questioned. "I know mother didnt want him going."

"He's a brave young man." Jon answered.

"He's a child." Selma countered as puppies ran around before her. "Oh my.... CUTENESS!" She squealed rushing forward and releasing Jon's arm.

"You didnt get sansa?" Ned mused.

"She told me not to tell her what to do." Jon rose his hands, a smile on his lips before moving to Selma who knelt between two pups, one pure of white and the other all black.

"Oh Jon, they are so precious," Selma turned to her father. "Daddy can we keep them?" Daddy, it was his weakness.  Selma knew it.

"You will look after them, feed them, train them and when they die-"

"So morbid!" Selma countered picking up the little pup. "Dont think such things, you are going to live forever!" she declared. "What to name you..." She whispered.

"I'm naming mine Ghost." Jon decided. "Unless you want the white one."

"Our wolves are friends." Selma added petting their fluffy little heads. "How about Shadow? Because you are going to follow me around everywhere I can see it now." she decided kissing the little pup over and over again. "How did you convince father to let us have wolves?"

"What on earth are those!" Catelyn demanded.

"Quick, RIckon, grab a puppy and run for it!" Selma declared. Bran and Rickon grabbed their wolves and took off running." She cant send them away if she can't catch us." Jon laughed out as Selma ran off with a laugh.

"What is that?" Catelyn demanded. "Selma! it's not proper for a lady to run! And that beast is going to dirty your dress!"

"She's not a beast, she's a Shadow."
