Jefferson let out an exasperated sigh as he sat in his bed, cringing and facepalming. What on earth was he thinking? He still couldn't understand what had happened earlier that day very well but he knew one thing - it left him feeling horrible and embarrassed. Is this what Karma feels like? he asked himself. He gathered his thoughts and took a shaky breath as he texted Madison 'I fucked up.'
It took a second for the sick boy to respond but eventually James started typing. 'Oh god. What did you do?'

It took about half an hour of explaining and another twenty minutes of regretting every single life decision that he had made up until this point and Jefferson was finally sat on a call with two familiar guys. He sighed in shame as Burr spoke up into his earphones from the other end of the device "Well shit.." he said, after Jefferson had ranted about all the events which took place, along with theorising about them because he was so confused. "That is rough" Burr replied, to which Thomas sighed - "I know.. I don't fuckin know what to do.. Alex is gonna put up that post and probably try ruin me" Jefferson once again facepalmed in underlying stress. "Hm.." Burr could sense his stress, even through the screen - Meanwhile poor Madison kept himself muted as he died inside by the phone. "Well... I can see if he plans on doing that at all" commented Aaron after a long moment of thought - "Really? How?" asked Jefferson, seeming unconvinced and distraught on the other end of the line. "Well... I may hate Alexander but he has no evidence or anything against me" said Burr, which caused Thomas to raise an eyebrow "..So?"
"So I can try approach him. You know, be all friendly." he explained - "And what will that do?" Thomas was a bit lost as he listened to the boy talk. "I'll talk to him, try get his opinion on things... I'll let you know what he plans"
"You're a genius." Jefferson let out a breathy chuckle - "You have the weekend to think of what to say don't you?" asked Jefferson, checking the time on his phone as he asked - "mhm. I'll keep you posted" Aaron said, to which Jefferson smiled widely, "God... Thanks."

Over the weekend, Madison had slowly recovered whilst Jefferson suffered with his internal anxiety about the situation and tedious chores.. ofcourse. It was now once again Monday and Burr had already set off on a mission as the chattering halls of students filled the area with annoyance and teenage drama. Aaron sighed to himself as he stepped into the corridor, fully prepared to search for and 'accidentally bump into' his old friend. He looked around the mess of tired, buzzing teenage bodies before his eyes landed on what he needed. A short gremlin of a tired-looking young man with his hair unusually down as he spoke to another - which Burr knew was John. Afterall, the two knew of eachother before Alexander had even come along. John and Lafayette were rather obnoxious in elementary school.
He sucked in a breath of hot air through his teeth before making his way close by Alexander's locker as the short boy muttered a conversation to his friend. "oh! Alexander" suddenly interrupted Burr, pretending to act surprised, causing the two young men to draw their sudden attention to him - a confused look on Alexander's face, which quickly morphed into a more relaxed one. "Oh.. Aaron" he said with an awkward small smile. "Long time no see" Aaron said, leaning against the set of blue lockers to his left as he tried to play the situation off as cool as possible without being smug or uncomfortable. "Yeah it really has been a while.." commented Alex, looking tiredly to Burr under John's gaze. "How have you been? I heard about the newspaper thing.. that really sucks man.. I'm sorry" Burr gave him an awkward yet sheepish smile, unsure of whether the way he was acting looked a little awkward or not. Hamilton waved away Burr's statement, sighing in disappointment "Oh don't even... it's a shame to talk about" muttered Alex. "It's all because of stupid fucking Thomas.." he sighed, before shaking his head a little as if getting rid of the thought - "That doesn't matter though, what have you been up to?" he asked in turn, giving Aaron a small, almost warm smile.
