I don't usually leave AN's but I want to put a quick disclaimer for CW - there may be homophobia present in future chapters so read with caution//

Thomas sighed, he wasn't exactly sure how he was supposed to approach John, but he knew he'd have to do it somehow. His mind was now far less organised than before and time was running out. He'd taken the weekend to just calm down, he'd not felt such an overwhelming level of stress for a rather long time now. Thomas took his pills as usual after his breakfast every morning, and it helped him greatly to calm down. The effects usually wore off some time by 6pm but at that point he had nothing other on his mind than taking a shower.
Thomas sighed - it was Sunday now. Sunday evening to be exact - another busy day. He was currently standing before his pile of washed clothes, sorting them into his rather large wardrobe as his mind gnawed on the idea of what he should do.
Hamilton in the meantime worked as hard as he could on the powerpoint project. He was aware that he had two weeks left and stayed up a little too late gathering information - he planned to practice the reading part a during the next coming up weekend. Alongside this he had many other things to finish and perfect, so many assignments others barely cared about - but school was ruthless.

The air was hot as usual, causing the students of Bluemount to sweat and take off their thick blue blazers, many complained about the heat, and many were annoyed. The school's AC's were turned on throughout the entire day, they blew cold wind in the stairwells and classrooms of the building - but there was one place which was truly icy all year round, and that's where Hamilton sat to work after-school hours on his project. The library was quiet, though usually around this time of year a few smart students hung around for it's coolness. The place wasn't locked until 5pm so Hamilton had much time on his hands.
Burr sat with Alexander at the table as the boy logged into his small black laptop, it was a little old but got the job done. Aaron watched as the boy prepared many notes he had written and placed them on the table in an unorderly fashion - they were all messily scribbled in black ink but were just literate enough for him to understand. "Woah that's a lot.." commented Burr as he looked down at the papers, trying to read through them. "Yep." replied Hamilton, setting up the powerpoint on his laptop - "Those are the notes about Britain and those are the notes about the French" he smiled tiredly, pointing to two separate stacks of roughly 5 papers, filled with writing on both sides. "Uhuh.." Burr nodded as he picked up a paper from the British pile, scanning it.
"Hey, sorry I didn't know where you were" John's voice caused Aaron to snap his head up as the guy walked to Alexander's side - he had a sheepish smile on his face as he looked down to Alex with a distracted gaze. Aaron didn't dare interrupt as the two boys interacted. "It's no worries John" smiled Alexander, looking to his friend. "Just came to see what you're up to" smiled John, scanning the papers on the table and then looking at the powerpoint which was booting up on Alexander's small laptop. "History stuff" shrugged Alexander, with a yawn. "You didn't stay up doing this did you?" asked John, sighing as if he already knew the answer. Alexander didn't need to speak, all they needed was a simple exchange of looks before John sighed "Alex I swear to god I'll beat you to death with your own notes if you keep doing this" sighed Laurens, but he delivered the words in a joking manner, flashing Hamilton a concerned smile. "You know if you want I can help you.. I've helped you before" suggested Laurens, at which Alexander shook his head. "No it's alright, I've got Aaron as my partner" Alex smiled as he motioned to Burr, who smiled awkwardly at John. "Besides you fell asleep on me like 50% of the time when you last 'helped' me" laughed Alex, causing John to playfully scowl. "I was still helpful though" he sighed - "Alright I won't distract you anymore or you'll stay up till' 2am trying to catch up" joked Laurens, lightly pushing Alexander's shoulder. "I'm off to get home, I have a match of Smash bros to play with Lafayette later - I swear I'll beat him this time" he groaned with a smile. "I'm sure you will..." joked Alex, sarcasm evident in his voice as John patted his shoulder "Aight, bye Lex" with a sweet smile John was gone.
