Just like everyday my phone rang exactly at 8 am and just like everyday I pressed snooze before rolling on my bed and getting comfortable again.

" Minho! " I sighed when I heard my mom shouting for me, just like everyday.

" Yes mom! " I shouted back before begrudgingly sitting up on my bed. Today was sunday but just like everyday, weekends aren't given the special treatment normal people give, in this household.

When my mom didn't reply I knew I had to wake up fully and walk down the stairs to know what would be the task given to me today.

" What? " I questioned as I peeked inside the kitchen after waddling downstairs from my bedroom.

" Do you want to eat a pudding? " Suddenly this day was whole lot brighter. I nodded with a wide smile which slowly turned upside down when my mother continued.

" So go and buy one. " My mom gave an evil grin before giving me a very familiar piece of paper.

" Along with all the things written in this list. " She said with a final smile and turned around while I frowned staring at the long list of things I'm supposed to buy.

" For the amount of things I have to buy, I won't be satisfied with just a pudding, I want ice americano too. " I bargained while extending my hand which my mother took in her own as a handshake.

" Deal. "

Both smiled and I dashed towards the living room to get money from my dad to pay for the things.

" How much will you need? "

" However much you can give. " Dad sighed and handed me enough money to buy everything I wanted.

" Why don't you ever take money from your mom? "

" Because you're our bank account, honey. " Mom replied from the kitchen causing him to huff.

" Why did you leave your job again? " He asked his wife who left her job an year ago.

" Because I want to be your sugar baby. " She said with smirk and my facials turned into a disgusted expression.

" Wait let me leave and then you can continue.... whatever you're doing. " I said with disgust and walked towards my room to get ready to leave.

Thankfully today wasn't as hot as it was last week since it rained last night so it was bearable to walk in sun without getting fried.

Still I wore light colored shirt and my white shorts because to be honest the weather change is never predictable. So I did rather freeze if it rained than melt like an icicle if it didn't.

" I'm leaving. " I announced as I saw my parents sitting on the couch still talking about the previous topic that I decided to ignore and left.

I hummed along a random tune as I skipped towards the near by market place. Usually I would prefer shoping in a grocery store which has AC in every corner so I won't have to suffer from the heat but mom always suggested to buy from the street vendors down the block because they always sell fresh fruits and vegetables.

Since today it was bearable to walk in the sun, I was quickly done getting everything my mom needed. After I ate my long awaited pudding from my favorite cafe, I left with the ice cold americano ready to head back home.

I stopped in front of a crossroad waiting for the signal to turn red and saw an old lady standing beside me.

" Oh no! " She shrieked as her carry bag ripped open and down fell her fruits and some vegetables. I looked up to see the lights turning red and a big crowd walking towards where we were standing.
