New Beginning

"Many many congratulations to our favorite lesbian."

Sam heard from behind her and instantly knew who they are. She turned around with a little sigh and there stand her group of friends. Or you can say her forced group of friends.

She met Jim, Tee, Kade and Kirk in high school. They were always together and on other side Sam was a lone wolf.

She had no idea why one day they decided to hang out with her and even after her cold behavior they didn't left her. They starts to talk to her about random things, they started to take her out with them for friends outing. And after that she became a part of that group without her knowledge.

Their company was not bad but they tried to make Sam admit that she is a gay whenever they got chance but Sam never accepted it in front of them. But today she is married to a woman who is with her grandma mingling with ladies from elite families.

"Thanks." Sam replied to Tee in dry tone.

"Hey Kade why don't you found yourself a lover, look how many beautiful ladies are present here today."

"Eh Jim what are you talking about? Why would I look for a woman for a lover, I am not gay."

"Neither was Sam."

"Aaah.." Kade, Tee and Kirk said with teasing smirk on their faces.

"Are you guys done? And Kirk don't forget you work for me so I can fire you anytime."

"What? But I didn't said anything."

"Yeah but you are with them in teasing me so......"

"Oh hon. Stupidity don't threat Kirk. But tell us how this happened. Our brains are not working properly because last time we checked we were invited to your brother's wedding." Kade questioned Sam.

For few minutes Sam didn't said anything.

"Nop ran away before marriage." Kirk replied instead of her. He knew about Nop's missing because he was helping Sam looking for him. He works for Sam as chief of security. "We couldn't trace his location because he left every traceable item behind. But I have no idea why Sam is married."

"Hey Sam you can share anything with us. We behave like morons but we are good listeners." Tee offer to Sam who nodded at them.

On other side grandma was introducing her grand daughter-in-law to her relatives and guests. No one dared to question that why Sam was getting married to Mon instead of Nop.

Grandma already informed about this to her close relatives and members of royal family last night.
After some time Yuki took Mon to have lunch.

"Swadee kha honorable lady." After finding grandma alone Anong came to her. "I am Anong, Aon's sister."

"Oh, Swadee kha khun Anong." Grandma greeted her with smile.

"I feel sorry for you." Anong said with sad expressions.

"I didn't understand. Why are you feeling sorry for me?"

"You don't find it suspicious that your Grandson left your house after his marriage was fixed with Mon. It was a warning sign for you but you ignored it and now she is married to your grand daughter, your bad time already started because of Mon's bad luck."

After hearing Anong's absurd talk grandma was feeling angry but she calm herself down and said with low tone and cold smile.

"Do you know saying anything about royal family member that tarnish their reputation and honor is a punishable crime and Mon is an Anuntrakul now. A member of royal family. Do you get it what I want to say?"

Anong gulped in fear. Her forehead was shining with sweat.

"Also if i heard anyone talking negative about Mon in any way I would know where it's coming from so I will take it as direct attack on our reputation."

"Forgive me hon. Lady, I will never speak ill about Mon again. I apologize." Anong said and ran away from there.

"Okay so you married Mon because grandma asked you to so she can fulfill the promise of her late husband."

"Ahan." Sam answer to Tee's conclusion of her story.

"Oye but my question is still unanswered. Are you lesbian or not?" Jim asked Sam.

Sam rolled her eyes at Jim and answered.

"Yes. I am gay. Happy now."

All her friends hi-fi each other on Sam's confession.
Just then Yuki come to their table with Mon a step behind her.

"Swadee kha khun Sam."
Yuki said to her. Now whole gang's attention were on them. "They are serving lunch so khun grandma said I should take Mon to your table."

"Ummm...of...of course." Sam said standing up pulling chair for Mon and signal her to sit.

After both Mon and Yuki sat with them Sam introduce them to each other.

"You are very beautiful Mon."

"Thank you phi Jim." Mon said with shyness.

"Yes you are very pretty nong Mon, just like me."

"Oh Kade stop being self obsessed. Why the way you are pretty too nong Yuki." Tee said in flirting tone making Yuki's face turns red.

All her friends roll their eyes and then few servers come to serve them lunch.

Everyone was busy in eating while Mon's mind was thinking about 8 years old incident.

She was visiting grandma with her mother. She decided to walk in palace's park while her mother and grandma was talking.

During her walk she heard someone shouting. She hid behind a tree and looked at scene going on in front of her eyes.

It was khun Sam who was shouting at an old servant of palace. Old man was shaking with fear and his hands were folded in front of khun Sam.

"Khun Sam...."

"I don't want to hear a single thing. You are no more working here."

"Khun Sam please......."

"Don't force me to make you throw out of the palace. You are nothing but a trash. If I ever saw you again I will not spare you. Now get out of here."

Khun Sam said and left from there leaving the old man crying.

From that day Mon didn't like Khun Sam. She never wanted to interact with her. She didn't saw khun Sam doing something like that again but that one incident left a deep impression on her mind.

That how khun Sam didn't cared about that man's old age before disrespecting him, that she didn't cared about making him jobless. She called him trash just because he was a mare servant in palace.

Now she is that khun Sam's wife. She had so many questions in her mind. Will khun Sam respect her or she will think that Mon is also a trash. Will khun Sam shout at her when she gets angry. So many questions but no answer.

She can just hope that maybe khun Sam had changed because no matter what she is going to fullfil all her duties as khun Sam's wife.

After thinking that a thought came to her mind and her face turned red. Maybe not all duties because she is not gay.
