Sam was unable to sleep. So much going on in her mind. Her headache was getting worse and worse.

She got up and sat on couch. She looked at Mon who was sleeping peacefully. One thing she learned about Mon is that sleep come to her easily, no matter what happens and she was thankful for that. Because she was well aware of consequences of not getting proper sleep when you have so much going on in your life.

Sam wants to check on Nop but she knew it was not the right time. She decided to go for a walk in palace garden.

A 10 minutes walk also was unable to help her to rest her mind. Her head was throbbing in pain. She sat down on a bench and tapped her forehead lightly multiple times.

"Let me give you a head massage khun Sam."

She heard someone said behind her. She knew that voice very well.

She just nodded and leaned her head a little back.

Mon's sleep was interrupted by pressure on her bladder. She woke up and went to washroom but when she returned the empty couch cought her eyes.

She checked the time and it was 3 in the morning.

"Where did khun Sam went this early in the morning." Mon questioned herself.

Then her feet take her to balcony but khun Sam was not there also. She was about to go back when the sight of two familiar figures in garden stopped her.

She was frowning, not knowing what to think of the scene going on in front of her eyes. Khun Sam was sitting on a bench while p'song was behind her, giving her a head massage.

Mon has no idea that khun Sam and p'song was this close. She never seen them interacting with each other more than necessary.

Her trance was broken by khun Sam's laugh. With a confused mind she went back to her bed.

She told Yuki everything that happened last night, excluding the early morning part, the moment they met in university.

"Are you for real Mon? You punched Nop?" Yuki asked in disbelief.

"Here is the proof." Mon show Yuki, her lightly bruised knuckle.

"Unbelievable. You punched the boy you wanted to kiss a month ago?"

"Don't Yuki, I don't even want to think about that. If I could go back to time then I am going to past and slap myself  for feeling anything for Nop."
Mon said in irritation.

"Waah, you changed drastically overnight Mon. If this is how people change after their marriage then I am not going to marry ever."

"Shut up Yuki. I used to adore Nop but what I saw and heard last night make me think otherwise. I accept that I never interacted with khun Sam in past but I have seen her interacting with Nop. How she always supported him, how she was there for him in every situation. She took care of her brother after they lost their parents in young age. I never seen her doing anything wrong with anyone but still her own brother excused her for a potential rapist."

Yes Mon never seen khun Sam doing anything wrong. She didn't forget about the incident where khun Sam fired that old servant but now she was having these doubts that there was a reason behind that.

"Mon, to be honest I can't even imagine how khun Sam has felt that time. It will break my heart even if a stranger would excuse me for such thing but here it was khun Sam's own brother who said such thing. She must be broken from inside."

What Yuki said forced Mon  to think because khun Sam was fine in the morning. She was looking just like she looks everyday.

Was it just a facade? What if khun Sam was hurt but choose to not show it? Or..or she talked about it with p'song and that makes her lighthearted.

But she should have talked with her as she is her wife. That's what they vowed about while getting married to each other.

She told khun Sam to give her head massage but then Nop happened and she forgot about it but shouldn't khun Sam asked her to do it. Instead she asked p'Song  because what could be the other reason for both of them to be in garden at ungodly hours.

"Hey Mon? Mon?" Yuki shaked Mon to pull her out of her thoughts. "I thought you truly traveled to past to slap yourself."

Mon didn't react on Yuki's words and went to her next class.
