Heart Beat

Sam was dropping Mon back to university. Just 15 minutes were left until Mon's class so she was in rush. She tried to get out of car in hurry but turned back when she felt a tug on her hand. She looked at Sam who was holding her wrist. She was fidgeting on her seat with nervousness.

"What it is khun Sam?"

"Mon.....there is a tradition in royal family, that when wife cook for first time, husband give her something, a gift or......"

"But you are not my husband khun Sam." Mon said in a teasing tone.

"Right, but you are my wife so......" Sam stopped herself from speaking and handed Mon a blue velvet box. "This is for you."

"Khun Sam, you shouldn't have to......."

"But I wanted to. Please."

Mon looked at box in her hand and then gave a wide smile to Sam which made Sam's heart to beat abnormally.

She was looking at Mon who was busy opening the box and when she opened it her whole face lighten up with happiness.

"It's beautiful khun Sam." she said with excitement. "I love it. Thank you so much."

If Sam had knew before, that a simple angel wing pendant could make Mon this happy, she would have bought a dozen.

"Here." Mon picked up the pendant from the box and extended towards Sam who looked at it confusingly.

"This is for you Mon."

Mon shaked her head at khun Sam and replied.

"I know khun Sam, I am asking you to put it on my neck." Mon then turned on her seat and faced the window. She pulled her hair in front and now her neck was exposed to Sam's eyes.

Sam didn't knew what was happening to her. Looking at Mon's creamy neck her breathing got heavy and heart started beating fast.

With slow movement she start to put pendant around Mon's neck trying her best to not touch her wife's nude neck. But even with her best effort her finger rubbed against Mon's skin and it sent a jolt of lightening through her body. She tighten the screw of pendant hurriedly.

"Mon, uhhh....you are getting late for class." Sam said not making eye contact with Mon.

"Oh shook, I will go now khun Sam. Thank you for the gift."

Sam take a long breath leaning her head backward on head rest of car seat. Then she put her hand on her heart and tapped it lightly trying to calm it down.

She was lost because she don't understand a thing happening to her. She want to find answers so she call the people who can help her with her condition.

"Who are you?"

Jim asked the moment Sam reached to the restaurant to meet with her friends.

She frowned with confusion at her question.

"What do you mean Jim?"

"You called us to meet with you, that's so unlike our friend so I am asking you, who are you?"

Sam rolled her eyes at Jim's explanation and sit down on her chair with sigh.

"Be serious Jim, if Sam called us to meet then I am sure she need us, so stop making fun of her." Kade said sternly.

"Jim and seriousness don't have any relationship Kade." Tee agreed with Kade.

"Oi, you guys always bully me."

"Said the bully." Tee said with smirk.

Sam closed her eyes with irritation on her friends bickering and said.
