Ice-cream

"Here your butterscotch." Sam handed Mon her ice-cream cone and started to unwrap her own.

"Thank you khun Sam. Which one you got yourself?" Mon asked curiously.

"I got coconut. Do you want to try?"

Mon wanted to. She never tasted coconut flavor ice-cream before but she was feeling hesitate. What if khun Sam doesn't mean it and.....

"Here, take a bite." before Mon can finish her thought Sam extended her cone towards her.

Mon took a small bite and she liked it so much. It can be clearly seen on her face. She wanted to have more but she can't. She started to eat her own ice-cream but today she doesn't find butterscotch tasty.

"I don't know why I got myself coconut, I was in mood for butterscotch." Sam said with a sigh. "But now I have to eat this ice-cream."

"Oh....we can trade khun Sam. You can have my butterscotch." Mon said instantly.

"Are you sure Mon? Butterscotch is your favorite flavor."

"Yes and that's why I had it plenty of times. I have no problem eating coconut ice-cream." Mon said with hope full eyes.

"Oh...ok here. Thank you Mon" Sam said giving her ice-cream to Mon who starts eating like she was scared of Sam asking it back.

And at this Sam shakes her head smiling and eating butterscotch ice-cream.

Late in the night while Sam was sleeping on the couch, her phone started ringing. She woke up and silence it so not to interrupt Mon's sleep.
She got confused looking at unknown number calling this late in night.

She picked up the call and went out of the room to talk.
Somewhere she had this feeling that who the caller could be and her feelings were true.

"Nop, what happened? Where are you? Why are you crying?" She asked worriedly and scared for her brother.

After listening to her brother her fear and worry grow up tenfold.

"Don't worry Nop, nothing is going to happen with you. I am not letting anything happens to you. Promise. Just wait okay."

Sam disconnected the call and instantly call someone else. She had to try twice before her call was picked.

"Kirk......Kirk, listen to me carefully. I am transferring 100k baht in your account and sending you a location, just go there and bring Nop back safely."

After few seconds silence on Sam's side she speaks again.

"It's not time for questions and answers Kirk, just do what I am saying. You have to leave right now."

Sam disconnect the call and transferred the money to Kirk. She was panicking inside and praying that nothing bad happened to her brother.

Sam was waiting for Mon near her car. She couldn't sleep whole night after that call. She was worried about Nop but few minutes ago she received a call from Kirk who already solved Nop's problem and now bringing him back.

"Khun Sam?" Her line of thought broke by Mon calling her name.

"Huh....oh Mon. Let's go."

"Khun Sam, is everything okay? You were so deep in your thoughts, I called your name many times."

Sam didn't know if she should tell Mon about Nop or not. But she will find soon when Nop will return to the palace.

"Mon, uhhh....No...Nop is coming back."

Mon's eyes widen with shock for a second but she make herself normal.

"Okay." She just said this with a sigh.

"I know Mon it's not fair to you but he...he is nowhere to go. He is my brother and...."

"Khun Sam, I have no problem with him coming back here. I knew always that someday he will return back. He is your brother, he is grandma's grandson and an Anuntrakul. He is coming back that's good news, right? Why would I have problem with that?" Mon said with calm voice.

"But what he has done to...."

"It doesn't matter anymore khun Sam. It was in past and it doesn't make a difference to my present and future. It doesn't change the fact that I am....that I am your wife now."

"Mon....." Mon's ineffective attitude was making Sam worried about her now.

"Khun Sam, it's 9 am already. We both will get late. We should go now."

Sam knew Mon don't want to talk about this topic anymore so she just nods and opened the car door for her wife.

"He shouldn't come back, he should have stayed where ever he was." Yuki said in frustration.

"Yuki, don't talk like that. He is returning to his home."

"Mon, I want you to stay away from him. I don't want you to fall for him again."

"What are you talking about Yuki? I told you yesterday that I don't feel anything for him anymore and I am married now."

Yuki looks unsure about what Mon said.

"Mon, you were in love with him before he left and it's hard to unlove someone this fast."

Mon thought for few seconds and said.

"Maybe I never loved him and it was just a crush.
I don't know what it was but I am sure about one thing that I will stay loyal in my marriage with khun Sam. Nop's presence will not going to change that."
