Avoiding

Mon was sitting on a swing in garden. It was sunday and still khun Sam left for some work.

Mon was having this feeling that something changed in khun Sam. Even though nothing major happened but she could feel these changes.

For example yesterday she sent a company car to fetch her from university instead of herself picking her. Also at dinner table she felt like khun Sam was ignoring her.
After dinner khun Sam didn't work in their room like usually but went to study room.

Mon didn't know if khun Sam come back to their room last night or not because she was not their on couch when Mon woke up in the morning.

It was p'Song who informed her that khun Sam left for work and will be having dinner with one of her client.

Mon don't want to think otherwise but she was unable to do so. She was feeling upset that p'Song knew about khun Sam's whereabouts and not her wife.

And also grandma left for Switzerland last night where her brother lives. Her brother's son is getting married in a month's time and they want grandma to be involve in every preparation. She wasn't sure but maybe they will also attend the wedding.

"Mon."

Mon sighed when she heard Nop's voice.

"Mon, why are you sitting alone here?"

"Do you have any problem?" Mon replied rudely, not in the mood to have small talk with Nop.

"Ohh, why are you angry at me all the time. You were not like this before."

Mon looked at Nop with piercing eyes, he was not taking the hint that Mon doesn't want to talk to him.

"What do you expect from me Nop, to worship you for your cowardly act."

"You are right, I was a coward then but I realized my mistake Mon. I should have stayed and marry you so you don't have to spend your Sunday sitting alone while your wife is enjoying her time somewhere."

"This is your problem Nop, Your sister works day and night for family business but you never acknowledge it. You always accuse her....."

"Not accusing Mon." Nop interrupted her in the middle of sentence. Then he show her phone screen to her. "It's phi Jim's facebook update, phi is having fun with her friends at an arcade arena."

Mon looked at Nop's phone screen with unreadable expressions then those expressions changed to a smile.

"Thank you Nop, I don't know what your intension was behind showing me this but I am happy that my wife is enjoying with her friends rather than working on her day off. Excuse me."

When Mon was leaving from there Nop said.

"To be honest Mon, if you would have been my wife, I wouldn't left you alone to enjoy with my friends."

Mon stopped in her track and turned to Nop. She had cold look on her face.

"To be honest Nop, I am glad that I am not your wife." She gave him a smirk and started to leave but again Nop said something that make her feet to stop.

"Before this wedding my phi never existed for you. I noticed few times how you ignored her while she was asking or saying something to you. And now you are caring about her so much, we both know why." Nop said in a taunt.

Mon looked at her sternly. She has no idea what Nop wants to say.

"I don't know what you are try to imply here."

"Oh come on Mon, why you care about phi is because of your sense of gratitude. Now she is everything for you because in your opinion she saved your and your family's honor so you want to repay her in some way. And to prove that you punched me because I said something bad about her. You punched the person you are in love with."

"Excuse me, I don't remember confessing to you about me being in love with you or saying 'I love you' to you ever. So keep your opinion to yourself and what you said about my feelings for khun Sam then listen one thing, I am married to her. I am her wife so I will not hesitate to punch you again if you dare to bad mouth about her." Mon said and finally left from there.

Nop was standing there with a smile on her face.

"Never knew you are this feisty Mon. I will make you mine no matter what I have to do."

Sam doesn't lied to Song when she said that she has work to do but that work was not so important that she has to go to her office on Sunday. In reality she was avoiding Mon, she want to stay away from her as much as she can.

She was feeling guilty for having these feelings for Mon and in her mind it is like she is taking advantage of the situation so she does what she thought is right thing to do.

Her friends called her to join them at arcade arena but she was not ready to face them again after yesterday's conversation. But they were so stubborn and promised her that they will not talk about that topic. In the end Sam gave up and joined them.

"Oh, horn fuzzy let's try that game."

"Don't want to." Sam replied in dry tone to Jim.

"Ohh, why did you joined us when you are just going to sit here?"

"Because you forced me to join you here. I was enjoying my office work."

"Who the hell enjoy office work, that too on Sunday?" Jim asked unbelievably.

"Jim, you again started nagging Sam?" Kade said joining them with Tee behind her.

"Kade look at our friend, she is sitting like a statue in a fun area. She should do some fun activity if she is here."

"Jim is right Sam, let's go to play bowling." Tee said excitedly.

"No, don't want to."

The trio looked at each other and sighed. Then Kade suggest something.

"Okay....okay let's take a break from all these games, we should go to the café upstair to eat something.
