Family Woman

It was past working hours. Sam and Nita was in Sam's office doing some paperwork.

While Sam was busy reading papers, Nita was busy staring at her. She had a smile on her face.

"I didn't knew you were gay."
Nita said suddenly which made Sam a little uncomfortable, not because she was having any problem to accept her identity but because she thought Nita had a problem with it.

"Ummm.....Now you know. You have any problem." Sam said in stern voice.

Because if Nita have any problem with it then she can kiss goodbye to managing director post in Sam's company.

"No....no Khun Sam you got me wrong. Oh my God I didn't mean it like that." Nita said in nervousness. "I have no problem with you being gay because I am too."

"Oh....oh. Good. Great." Sam said not knowing how to react to this unwanted information. "Well we are not here to discuss our sexual preferences so let's finish this work."

When it comes to business talk Sam has God level confidence.

"Yeah sure, by the way Khun Sam, would you like to have dinner with me after work?"

"Uhh.....sorry Khun Nita I can't. I prefer having dinner with my family as it's the only meal that I have with them."

"Oh yeah you are a married woman and I still don't get it that how your wife let you work instantly after marriage. You did not went to honeymoon?"

"Khun Nita that's my personal matter and I don't like to discuss that with my employees." Sam said in serious tone.

"I apologize Khun Sam."

"I think it's enough for today. We should get going." Sam secured all the papers and left from there.

Nita was still sitting there calmly but a lot of things were going on in her head.
Mostly about Sam's marriage. She was having this intuition that something is wrong with her marriage.

"Sam you started working just after your wedding, after this company ownership transfer take some time off and go on honeymoon with Mon."

After hearing what grandma said Mon chocked on the food as they were having dinner.

Sam lightly tapped on her back and she understand Mon was not feeling comfortable with the topic even she herself was uncomfortable.

What are they supposed to do on a honeymoon, they didn't have any kind of relationship to go on a vacation together and enjoy it.

It would be super awkward, just like it was right now.

"Grandma, I don't think now is the right time to take days off. We just bought a company that I have to pull out of the pit of ruined. On other side Mon also has classes to attend as she is missing out since few days. Her graduation is near and I think she should focus on her studies. But at the end decision will be yours."

Mon looked at Sam with gratitude as she herself was eager to bring the topic of  resuming classes but didn't know how to. But Sam did it for her and she understand what is important right now.

"Oh, you are right Sam. I was not thinking this way. Mon when are you going to continue your classes. I am sure you are missing a lot of college work that you have to cought up to."

"Actually khun grandma if you don't have any problem I would like to start going to college from tomorrow."

"Very well. I don't have any problem Mon. And Sam it is your responsibility to take Mon to college and pick her up."

Sam looked at Mon and then at grandma.

"Grandma, I will arrange a driver to drive her anywhere she wants to go." Sam said as she was sure that Mon will not feel comfortable with her in a confined space of her car.

"That's absurd Sam. She is your wife. You have some responsibilities towards her."

"I know grandma but I am busy all the time in office and......."

"Then you have to make time for her as she is your wife now. You have done enough for Anuntrakul Empire and now you are a family woman so you have to learn to balance both family and work. Right Sam?"

"Yes grandma."

Mon didn't know how to feel about this whole situation. She have an idea that Khun Sam doesn't feel comfortable with grandma's arrangement. She has no problem with Khun Sam driving her to university but according to her khun Sam does not feel the Sam.

Mon though talk with Sam about finding a way so she don't have to drop her and pick her up everyday.
