She took off her gloves and rushed to pick it up. It was Jake, arrrg,  what does he want? " she was ton between two decisions,  without thinking she disconnected the call and was just about to power her phone off when a message popped up on her screen....'I'll drive to your house if you keep ignoring me.'

Her phone then rung again and she answered after the seventh ring.

"Hello Cindy speaking. "

"Hey how are you? have you seen the text I've sent you." Jake asked.

"No, sorry I have not seen it,  I was first asleep, I've been woken up by the ringing of my phone." Cindy lied and she was quite nervous and felt awkward.
"It's okay, no worries...I wanted to take you....
"Hello, I can't hear you properly Jake,  Hello, Helloooooo... Hello can you hear me...she finally hung up and sighed "phew! that was close." She later powered off her phone. She was happy that the next day was a Friday and a public holiday she was not to report to work,  she would stop by the library then visit her family for dinner and leave with Bianca as promised after dinner.
She switched off the lights and promised herself to sleep peacefully without thinking too much.
Early the next morning Bianca had woken up and had started to pack her stuff.
"Honey you'll be leaving later in the evening not now."
"I know mom but my friend says the early bird catches the warmth," she said cutely.
"Who even taught you this, she laughed , "and it's the worm chipmunk not warmth."
"But my friend said warmth, like that one of the sun rays."
"Okay it's warmth,  lets go down and have breakfast then I'll help you get your things together after you take a shower."

"Okay mommy," she said as she walked down holding her teddy bear tightly.
Tom had left earlier to run an errand and had promised to join them for dinner later in the evening.  He had been referred to a certain psychiatrist who had stopped by all the way from the Philippines and was going to be around for three months. Greg, Tom's friend had told him that he had to book a session because his list was always full and the earlier the better.
He arrived at a famous hospital known as Kingston, he parked his car and went inside the building. He had booked an appointment and was told to sit and wait.

After seven people came in and out making him anxious, his name was finally mentioned next and he walked in and sat down.
"Good morning, my name is Dr Eddy nice to meet you,"
"My name is Tom and nice to meet you to, I wanted to enquire whether I can book a couple of sessions for my daughter to receive therapy,  a friend referred  me to you and said you are good at your job."

"Sure you can I'll be around for sometime,  I hope long enough to help your kid. What's her condition.?"

"I am sorry I can't describe it with accuracy  I know that something happened to her when we were still living in Texas and she has been traumatized ever since. She refused to speak up, but certain things trigger the trauma and she finds it difficult to breath and most of the time after an episode she ends up getting admitted in hospital. The last doctor we saw actually told us if she doesn't receive treatment through therapy she'd end up getting a brain tumor. "

"Dr Eddy could see the sad expression on Tom's face and assured him he'd try his best. He gave him a form for registration and the dates that the sessions would start.  Tom went home a happy man and didn't forget to thank God for the good news he was taking home.
