"we're gonna miss our flight" Sofia ran down the stairs with her suitcase "I think we're fine. relax Ben Chilwell and Sofia Sainz were flying out to Italy to go to the grand prix in imola. It would be the second time she was in the paddock this season and she couldn't wait. She was also super nervous, not for the race, but for Sunday. This was due to the Spanish squad for a few friendlies being released on sunday too. This wasn't the euros squad, but just a squad for a few friendlies. She needs to make this squad to prove that she should get a spot in the euros team. ——————————————————————— "Oh my god this place is amazing" Ben was walking through the paddock like a kid in a candy store. "Oh my gosh is that Fernando Alonso?! I cant believe it" "Fernando! come here a sec!" Sofia called him over "Woah woah what are you doing" Bens expression suddenly turned to nervous "Hola Sof" said fernando as he gave her a hug "hola. This is Ben, he plays for chelsea and he's a big fan" "ahh yes i've seen you play, pleasure to meet you" fernando said as he shook his hand. The three of them spoke for a while before Lando came over to join them. He did a little handshake with ben then gave Sofia a hug. "there's my star striker" he said grinning from ear to ear. "nice to see you in the paddock ben, watching from ferrari i assume?" "yep, lucky enough to get invited by the smooth operator himself" The three of them continued to talk until Lando had to leave for FP1. "he's so into you" ben said as he started to walk Sofia just laughed and shook her head, but her cheeks went slightly red as she caught him up. ——————————————————————— Ben and Sofia joined Arthur and Ollie in the Ferrari box and they all got along immediately. They spent the day in there speaking and watching the cars. Ollie and Arthur had to leave for a while for their formula 3 practise and qualifying. Ollie smashed it qualifying P5 however an issue for Arthur caused him qualifying P21.
