It was Sunday the 13th of November.....Landos birthday. She had stayed in his room last night and was ready to give him his present. She sat back on the bed facing him as he smiled up at her. "happy birthday" she said smiling and handing him the present. he pulled himself up so he was sitting, the duvet sliding down his bare, toned chest and stopping just above his waistband. it was a sight sofia had become quite happy with. "you really didn't need to do this sof" "of course i did so shush" he took the present from her and unwrapped it. She has got him a hamper full of all of his favourite things, from food to racing gear to clothes and sunglasses. In the middle was a photo of the two of them. It wasn't much, but she had put the effort in and that made lando so happy. "sof this is amazing thankyou so much" "i'm sorry it's not much, i didn't have mic time and-" he cut her off by putting his hand on her cheek "sof it's perfect" she smiled at him and shuffled closer, wrapping her arms around his neck. he put his around her waist and pulled her closer to him and onto his lap. she placed her head on his shoulder and nuzzled into his neck, as he stroked the back of her head, playing with her hair. "who'd have thought i'd be here with you. when i first saw you again in bahrain i never would have thought we would end up here" he said after a while she smiled "i know. i mean we were always close but i never would have thought thing would work out like this" she lifted her head to look into his eyes "i'm so happy they did though. it's perfect" "your perfect" he said, his eyes flicking between her eyes and her lips. "i love you" he whispered before leaning in and kissing her. ———————————————————————
"fuck fuck fuckkkk!" she shouted as landos car came to a halt. she heard the commentary through the speakers my oh my and lando norris is out of the brazilian grand prix "for fucks sake" she said "it's ok" heidi said from next to her. now that her and lando were public, she agreed to watch the race from the mclaren garage.
She saw him walk back into the garage after a few minutes and excused herself from heidi and walked over to him. He spotted her after taking his helmet off and walked over to her. he said nothing and just hugged her, putting his head on her shoulder. She knew he must be annoyed and upset so she just held him for as long as he needed. Eventually, his PR managed called him over and said she needed him for post race interviews. he lifted his head and placed a sad kiss on her head, once again not saying anything and walked off.
After the race she walked out towards the podium to watch, as george had won his first ever race, plus carlos came P3. she then made her way to ferrari to greet him when he came back. "P3 BABYYY" "P3 BABYYY" the two of them shouted one after the other. he came over and gave her a hug, before passing her his trophy for a closer look. "bet your jealous you didn't spend the race in here" he said with a smirk "well considering the person i was at mclaren to support had a DNF and the person i would have been here to support got a podium....maybe slightly" "on his birthday though. not the present he needs" "i feel so bad" "have you seen him since?" "briefly. i'll go and find him later" "okay" Carlos was then whisked away to do interviews aswell. Sofia made her way out into the paddock where she ran into george and quickly congratulated him. All the drivers were usually busy at this point so she made her way to main hospitality to grab a snack before making her way to Landos driver room. She gently knocked before she heard his voice. "who is it?" "me, sof" "oh" his voice softened "come in"
she opened the door then turned to shut it, when she turned around he was stood there shirtless, yet still with his racing suit tied around his waist. "wow lan, that's an interesting look" "oh shush. i was in the middle of getting changed until someone interrupted me" "i can leave?" "nonsense, sit down" he said with a smile.
he started to get changed so sofia tured around "sof you don't have to look away. nothing you haven't seen before" he said with a smirk and a wink she felt her cheeks heat up as they turned red. "shut up" she said he finished getting changed then sat down and placed his arm around her. "your cute when you blush" "your a dick....full stop" "wow, really feeling the love" "mmm yeah? i'm glad" they both giggled. Lando pulled out his phone and showed her a photo that was taken before the race "how cute is this" he said showing her "awww i love it! send it me" "of course. can i post it?" "i'd you want. you don't need my permission"
