I woke up to the bright sun taking away my eyesight. I turned my face around in an attempt to avoid the sun. I saw my reflection on the wall. I woke up from the best sleep I had In a while, perhaps it was because the day had finally arrived, the day I was going to avenge the death of my brother.
I got up. on my way, to the shower, I stubbed my toe at the bedside table. 'Shit,' I said. 'Is this a sign that indicates, everything will go bad? Should I just not go? Should I change my mind? But I planned everything already. What should I do?' I sighed, 'Stop overthinking Y/N, everything will be fine. I have planned everything already. That is precisely why everything is going to be okay,' I said mentally facepalming myself.
I gathered my thoughts. I walked towards the bathroom. After I took a shower, I washed my face and brushed my teeth. Once I was done, I looked in the mirror. I zoned out as memories found their way inside my mind again. Once I regained consciousness, I took a deep breath, "Today is the day you're going to die. The day you will be reuniting with my brother. I desperately hope that he will look into your face in disgust. I hope you will be so ashamed of yourself and face eternal punishment. I hope you will realize the damage you have dealt to me. You chose status and reputation over your son's life, future, and potential happy memories. You deserve death more than anything. This world is full of disgusting viruses such as yourself, and I will be the one to wipe them out. And you, you're the most dangerous and contagious one out of all".
"Are you ok?♡" He said. The concern in his voice was clear as day. "I am fine. Just preparing". "Alright♡" He said, not wanting to push further. He walked over to me. I turned my face toward him. He stopped. I smiled, hoping he'd worry less. It seemed like it did not work. He came closer again. He opened his arms offering a hug. I smiled once more and took his offer. I leaned my head on his chest. He wrapped his arms around me. We stood there for a while.
I pulled back. He looked into my eyes and cupped my cheeks. I could feel that he was trying to reassure me with a glance. He smiled and left a kiss on my forehead. "You know what we're going to do today, right?" "I do, that's precisely why I am doing this right now♡" He said smiling. "Great, we have to start with buying the costumes". "No need to rush, that'll only make you panic♡" "We have to be there at 20:00" "Alright♡"
Time skip
We were walking through the city trying to find a shop suited for buying costumes that we could wear for tonight. We also had to buy a mask, it was a masquerade after all. "How about that one?♡" He said pointing at a shop. It was the most expensive shop in the neighborhood. This is Hisoka, not shocking at all. "alright," I said. We walked towards the shop.
As we entered, the employee walked over to us, "Hello, how can I help?" "Hi," I said. The place looked really fancy. The clothing were of high quality. We walked around the shop trying to find a costume. According to Hisoka, we had to find the prettiest one. I told him multiple times that we were going to wear it just one time. He insisted. We walked around for at least an hour. He is very indecisive. eventually, we found the ones.
