"Mommy." I heard. "Mommy." Again.

"Mm. What is it, sweetheart?" I asked.

"I'm hungry." she told me.

"Okay, let me get ready, then I'll go make your breakfast." I told her.

She nodded and watched tv on the bed. I got up and I could sense it. Death. It's all over the air. I get ready, before heading downstairs, with Thena in my arms. I sat her down at the table, making breakfast.

"What are you making, mommy?" She asked me.

"Blueberry pancakes, with sausage, hashbrown, and bacon." I told her.

"Yay." She clapped.

"Go wake you brother and sister." I told her.

She left upstairs as I plated everything.

"Morning mom." Alec and Izzy told me.

"Morning, babes. Food's ready. Let's eat." I told them.

"Mom, don't forget I have a game today." Alexander told me.

"I won't. At 5. I already told work. I'll be there, baby." I told him. "Now, everyone in the car." I told them.

They grabbed their backpacks, while I grabbed my purse and keys. I locked the door, before starting the car up.

I dropped Alec and Izzy off to school, before taking Thena to elementary. I walked her to her class, before heading to work.

"Morning, Stella." Penny, a co-worker of mine said.

"Morning, Penny. Anything exciting today?' I asked her.

"There was a gsw today. Police Officer, but nothing after that." She told me.

I walked off and started doing my charts. As I focused on them, I jumped hearing my phone.

"Hello." I said.

"Hey, sweetie." I heard.

"Hey dad." I greeted. "What's up?" I asked.

"There's been some weird cases down here in Peru. There are people being bitten." He told me.

"We have had some cases like that down here too. We give them some medicine before sending them off." I told him.

"I don't know, but something feels off about it. I keep smelling the scent of death over here." He told me.

"This morning when I woke up, I could sense it. The smell of death. It's not strong, but I fear something is to happen and soon." I told him.

"If your smelling death, then something is about to happen. I want you to get supplies, just like your mother and I taught you. Grab the kids and go." He told me.

"I will, dad. Be safe." I told him.

"I love you, little wolf." He told me.

"I love you, too." I told him, hanging up.
