As I ran into the house, I listened for the walkers. I shot the two upstairs, before I listened for the others.

"Cleared!" I told everyone.

I gave the leftover food Alec, and I hunted yesterday to the kids. I watched as they finished it quickly. Before we could relax and take a breath, I could hear them.

"Walkers!" I told them.

I took the lead to the car and got the kids inside, before driving off. We came to a stop when we were good distance away. The kids and I got off, with Alec keeping watch behind us and Athena and Izzy with me. We went to the front with the others and looked at the map.

"We got no place left to go." T-dog said.

"When this herd meets up with this one, we'll be cut off. We'll never make it south." Maggie said.

"What would you say? That was about 150 head?" Daryl asked as he tried summing up the walker amount.

"That was last week. It could be twice that by now." Glenn told him.

"This river could have delayed them. If we move fast, we might have a shot to tear right through there." Hershel said.

"I can always go to the area we last saw the walkers. I can use my banshee scream and kill most of them. Gives us a chance to get through them, with less of them." I told them.

"No, that will be a last resort. It tired you out last time using it and with you running in wolf form to get to the area, that will take more strength. We'll wait for that time to come." Rick told me. "The only thing to do is double back at 27 and swing towards Greenville." Rick told us.

"Yeah, we picked through that already. It's like we spent the winter going in circles." T-dog told him.

"Yeah, I know. I know. At Newnan we'll push west. haven't been through there yet. We can't keep going house to house. Need to find someplace to hole up for a few weeks." Rick said looking at Lori.

"All right. It cool if we get to the creek before we head out? Won't take long. We got fill up on water. We can boil it later." T-dog told Rick.

"Knock yourself out." Rick told him.

I walked back to the truck, passing Lori.

"Stella?" She called out.

"Yeah." I said.

"Can you check the baby?" She asked me.

"Get my stethoscope." I told Izzy.

After I had, I checked the baby. I could hear the heartbeat. It's strong.

"Your baby is just fine." I told her. "It's strong like it's mother." I told her.

I could still smell sadness on her.

"What's wrong?" I asked her.

"Nothing. Just I had a dream about the baby, and it scared me." She said

"It's normal to have nightmares before the baby is born, but you have to remember that everything will be okay." I said

"I know but I feel like I am in this alone right now. Both my son and husband hate me." She said

"They don't hate you. Rick is hurt from your actions but that was before you knew he was alive. Just give him time." I said

"And Carl?" She asked looking up at me

"He's confused. I can smell it on him. With time he will forgive and understand why what happened, happened." I told her.

"Thank you." She said.
