Today, we all moved into our own houses. The kids, Daryl, Carol, Rick, and I all had one house. The kids each had their own rooms, with Rick and I having the master bedroom. Carol and Daryl took the two beds downstairs.
Tyresse, Michonne, Sasha, Noah, Gabriel took the one next to us and Maggie, Glenn, Abraham, Rosita, Tara, and Eugene took the last house.
After everyone moved and we got situated, I left with Rick outside the gates. He explained to Carol and Daryl what he thought.
"So what do you think?" He asked.
"We can go in when it's empty." Carol said.
"How? The place is locked at night." Rick told her.
"The window. It's just a latch. I can leave it open." Carol said.
"A latch." Rick stated.
"What if one of those pricks shuts it?" Daryl asked.
"Wait a couple of days, leave it open again." Carol said.
"It's getting closer." Daryl told us.
"We need to do this sooner than later. Right now, they're not watching us. Not worrying about meetings like this. We may need the guns, we may not." Rick said.
"We will whatever way it goes." Carol stated.
"The kids and I still have our guns. There in our rooms. If we can get the weapons, Magnus can open a rift for us." I told them.
"They're the luckiest damn people I've ever met. And they just keep getting luckier." Rick said.
"How's that?" Daryl asked.
"We're here now." Rick told him.
I looked around and saw more walkers.
"I'm going to go deal with them." I told everyone.
I walked away and cut the walkers down.
"Leave one alive." Carol told me.
I went back next to Rick and watched Carol kill it.
"I'll meet y'all later. I'm gonna go huntin." Daryl told us.
"You better come back soon. Athena likes spending time with her uncle Daryl." I told him.
Carol and Rick laughed.
"You guys it's not funny. I used to be her favorite person." I told them.
They laughed more as we returned back to the community. Later that day, while Rick was working, the kids and I worked on the backyard.
Magnus and Carl chopped wood for the stand. Isabelle and Alexander carved the wood into a spiral. We combined them together, using Magnus fire to meld the pieces, before Athena came over with a spray can and made a target.
We now had an archery range in the yard.
"You kids go wash up." I heard.
I looked to the porch and saw Rick with Judith. The kids left and they all took showers. I took a quick one, before dressing nicely for the party.
"Wow." Rick said.
I smiled, looking at him.
"You look amazing." He told me.
"You look handsome too, mi vaquero." I told him.
He smiled, kissing me, and I went to dress Judith.
