Beep! Beep! Beep! The alarm went off in the landing and in my room, I could also hear my brother's alarm going off as well, god I hate mornings!

"Mum! Turn the alarm off!" I yelled to my mum.

I heard her walk up the stairs and turn the alarm off, instead of going back downstairs she opened my bedroom door and peered in.

"Happy birthday Rosetta." Mum said.

"Thanks mum, is father about?" I asked her.

"He's down stairs dear, waiting for you." She told me with a smile and then left.

I got up out of bed and walked into my bathroom and turned the shower on the hottest temperature I could stand and stripped out of my pj's and got in, the water made me feel confident and comfortable, I washed my hair using my vanilla scented shampoo and conditioner and apple scented body wash.

After 20 minutes in the shower I got out and wrapped my purple fluffy towel around my body and wrapped my strawberry blonde hair in a head towel and walked back into my bedroom and walked into my walk in closet and searched through my clothes for today's outfit.

Most if not all of my tops were long sleeved, that way they cover my cuts and scars, yes I self harm there is a reason for it but right now I don't want to talk about it, it's my birthday and I'm gonna be happy. Pulling out my favorite purple top and my black skin tight jeans and black combat boots and walked back into my room, I placed my clothes on the bed and walked over to my chest of drawers that have my bra and underwear in and pull of a matching red frilly set and put them on, then I moisturize my legs and put my socks on and pull on my jeans and lace up my boots, then I pull my top on and pull on my black hoodie.

I go to my dressing table and sit in the chair and get out my make up out and apply my simple make up of mascara, eyeshadow, eye liner and lip stick/gloss. Pulling my hair out of the head towel I blow dry it and leave it natural.

I walk out of my room and head down stairs I can hear my father and his beta Rich, talking but before I can go join them my little brother Mike came running in from the living room and flung himself into my arms and hugged and kissed me.

"Hawpy Birfday Wose" he told me.

"Thanks bud, where's mom?" I asked him.

He got down and grabbed my hand and pulled me along into the kitchen and then after giving me a final hug and kiss he went back into the living room. Mum placed a plate of food in front of and I sat and ate the whole plate when I was done I washed my plate up and went in search of father.

He and Rich were in his study and were sat discussing pack business. I walked in and sat in my chair and waited for them to finish.

"Happy birthday Rose" Richard said formally

I nodded my thanks and turned my attention to my father.

"Rose, I just want you to be aware that there is another pack that has taken up residency near by and that the soon to be Alpha will attending your school. You may remember him and his family." He told me seriously.

"What is the new Alpha's name?" I asked him.

"Alex Scott." He told me looking in my eyes.

"I thought Gerrard was going to be Alpha, after all he is the oldest." I said in shock.

I can't believe he's back after 3 years he's back, the last time we saw each other we had a massive fight. I no longer spoke to Gerrard, we used to be close but now I hate him because he hurt his brother.

"No, he brought dishonor to the pack and was kicked out, he moved into his mother's pack and is to be their Alpha." He told me.

"Okay father I will make sure that he and his brother's find their way at school and make sure none of our pack mess with them." I told him.

"Thank you Rose, I know that it has been a difficult 3 years for you but from what I have heard of him he has changed a lot and has become more responsible and more mature." He told me and then dismissed me.

I walked back into the kitchen and sat down my mind going 10 to the dozen, my mum put a cup of tea and my favorite cake, angel cake in front of me and smiled. I ate the cake and drank my tea then grabbed my keys to my black Mercedes and walked into the living room and kissed Mike good bye and slung my bag over my shoulder and left.

I pulled into the school parking lot and parked in my usual spot next to my best friend Maisey's car and walked into the building and saw her stood with our other friends they all greeted me and I told them about Alex and his brother's joining the school.

"How you feeling about him being back?" Maisey asked me quietly.

"I'm okay, I think, I'll let you know the answer when I have seen him." I told her honestly.

She nodded and joined back into the groups conversation. Mason saw the look on my face and gave me a hug I knew he hated seeing me so beaten, he was like a big brother to me, he had found his mate a few months ago and she is one of our friends, I would never of thought they would be mates but they are and they are so happy.

Pulling away he looked me in eyes and asked if I was okay I nodded not sure how my voice would portray me.

"Rose!" I heard a voice call.

I turned around to see not so little Marc running towards me, I couldn't help but smile at him, I hadn't realize how much I had missed him until this point, he was still smaller than me which I was almost thankful for. He jumped up into my arms and I gave him massive hug, I couldn't help but smile.

He pulled away and I put him down and looked up to find Eric stood there, I hugged him too. I looked around trying to find Alex but I couldn't find him, I shrugged it off.

"Maisey, Luke, Emma, Sam, Elena, Paris, Mason, Lucie, Sarah this is Marc and Eric Scott, they are Alex's two younger brother and Marc is my little boy, I helped raise him." I said with pride.

They were welcomed into our group with open arms, I smiled at them all happily. I still hadn't seen Alex but I guess it was better that way, the bell rang and we all headed to tutor, Maisey and I were in the same tutor so we walked up together and sat in the back.

Tutor as always was boring and when the bell for first period rang I walked out and went to my first lesson which was Music, in fact I had it for first and second period. I walked in and smiled at Sarah and sat with her for the whole lesson until it was time for my singing lesson.

"Nice to see you again Rosetta." Mrs Lawrence greeted me.

I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"What song do you want to sing for your final exam?" She asked me.

I thought about it for a long time then said:

"Mariah Carey's We Belong Together"

She nodded and begun flicking through her papers for the notes and lyrics. When she found them she handed me the lyric sheet and set up the note sheet on her piano stand. When I was ready she started to play.

We went through it a few times and at the end of the lesson she turned to me and said:

" I couldn't help but notice that you seemed to know the song very well, in fact I don't think I saw you look at the lyrics once."

"Yeah a few years ago I took it upon myself to learn the song." I told her and waved goodbye.

Break time was fun Marc and Eric joined us and hung out with us, but I still haven't seen Alex.

"Eric where is Alex, I thought he was meant to be joining to?" I asked Eric.

"He is here, he drove Marc and I here, I expect he is with some chick somewhere." He told me.

I don't why but I felt like I had been kicked in the stomach, he was still the player.

Obviously somethings never change...
