My mind was reeling, I wouldn't cry, no I would not let him win, my brain began to shut down, I reached out seeking comfort from Maisey. Rose, Rose are you okay? She asked me. No he's raping me I mentally cried. The others will be here soon just hang in there. She said.

For 2 hours he raped me when he was done he left me. When he left I finally let myself cry. Rose, I want you to know that he will pay for what he has done, Maisey told me. Marc said. Tell Alex I'm sorry and that I love him. I said

"Gerrad get back here you coward!" I yelled.

Minutes later he came in and his eyes were black with anger I launched myself at him and ripped his throat out killing him istantly, when he was dead I connected with Maisey He's dead. I'm sorry that you are going through the pain that did. I love you Maisey your the bestest friend I ever had. Before she could reply I closed off all connections to the packs.

I pulled on my clothes and found where Gerrad kept his knives and poisons, I pulled out the knife I gave him for his birthday and attached it to my belt and then pulled out the twin knife he and Alex had and used to it to cut open all of my main veins and atteriries so I would bleed to death, while I bled I drank wolfsbane knowing that it in my weakened state it would kill me.

I pulled out of pen and paper and wrote a letter to Alex..

I'm sorry Alex, I never meant for any of this to happen, I want you to move on from me and find someone else, you have a chance for a future without his shadow hanging over you. Live your life in peace. I want you to know that I never stopped loving you, not ever, I will continue loving you even in the next life. Look after yourself and the others, especially Marc I know this will be hard on him.

I curled up on the floor and drifted off to sleep...

I hope Alex will find love with someone else, I cannot live with the fact that I let this happen, it is my fault therefore I deserve to suffer.

Alex's pov:

I ran as fast as I could knowing what she was about to do, I could not lose her not again. Marc wasn't far behind neither was CJ, my beta. When we arrived no one fought us, it was almost as if they had given up.

I followed Rose's scent, when I found her Maisey was holding her limp body in her arms rocking back and forth crying, I approached slowly knowing that Maisey was not in a good state. I crouched down to her level and reached out showing her that I wanted to hold Rose, she nodded her head and handed her over she moved away and continued rocking.

I looked around the room and that's when I spotted Gerrad's body lying dead on the floor, she had killed him, she did what she had set out to do. I felt tears running down my face but I didn't care who saw me, my mate had just died. CJ came in to see what was happening, he spotted Maisey in the corner and he beganto growl.

"MINE" He growled.

She was his mate, he had finally found her, I was happy for him. He pulled Maisey into him and held her as she cried he whispered words of comfort to her.

By Rose's body I saw a piece of paper it was note to me, I cried even harder as I read it.

We arrived back in our territory, and I carried Rose's body to my room, I wasn't ready to let her go, I laid her down on the bed and climbed in beside her.

"I'm so sorry Rose, for everything." I whispered to her.

Rosetta's pov:

I heard Alex say he was sorry for everything, I wanted to tell him that I forgave him but I couldn't move.

A bright light appeared and as it dimned down a woman in white stood in front of me, I never thought this could happen, I was in the presence of the moon godess.

"My child, you have done so well, but it is not your time, you were given gifts and so was your mate, and without the other neither one will function. Go back to him" She said and disappeared.

I felt myself start to wake, and when I woke Alex was still holding me. I reached out and stroked his cheek, his eyes widen with suprised, I could see the inner battle that he was having.

It is me, I have come back to you. I told him opening our bond. He kissed me with so much passion and love, I was so happy.

He pulled back and looked me in the eyes asking if he could mark me as his, I tilted my neck to the side so he had easy access and he began trailing kisses down my neck until he found my weak spot and he bit down, at first it was painful but then it became pleasureable. I knew that if I marked him now we would need to complete the mating process but I wasn't ready for that yet, I needed to let Maisey know that I was alive.

"I know love, I will take you to her but first there is something you need to know, she has found her mate so he maybe protective of her." Alex told me.

"Who is her mate?" I asked.

"My beta, CJ." He said.

I nodded and we walked hand in hand to CJ's room and nocked on the door, someone told us to come in, and as we walked in Maisey launched herself at me and wrapped me in a bone crushing hug.

"I have never been so happy to see you in my life, never do that again" She told me.
