Alex's pov:

When Rose left I headed to my father's house, I opened our bond to let him know I was in my way and that we needed to talk. Father, I will be home shortly, I will meet you in your office, Rose said that you have something that I need to know. I told him. Okay son and yes there is much that we need to discuss. He told me.

When I arrived at the pack house I walked right in and headed to my father's office, I didn't bother knocking I just walked in I needed to know what he was holding back from me. Rose knew what it was but wouldn't tell me, it was starting grind my gears.

"Father please tell me, I have a right to know." I said.

"Sit down Son, what I am going to tell you will not make sense if you jump in before I finish, so please let me say what I have to." He told me.

I sat on the coach and motioned for him to continue.

"You know that Maisey is Rose's gaurdian but we have never told you why Rose has a guardian, she has a guardian because she is one of two very special wolves who were chosen at birth and were given powers and these two are able to control all the packs. Almost like A King and Queen but they are not called that they are called Lord and Lady, when they were born they were designated a guardian to protect and watch over them, like I said there are two and the other wolf is you, we have tried to protect you from it as best we could but now that you are nearly of age we cannot keep this from you because when you turn 18 you will be given your powers as will Rose. Now as for your guardian, he was in Rose's pack but he left to keep you safe he lives in no - man's land and that is where Maisey and Rose have gone, they know him very well, they are childhood friends and he is Maisey's twin brother, they are bring him back so that you can meet him, his name is Demitri. When they are back I will have Alpha Fall bring the three of them here, I know this is a lot to take in and I understand if you hate Alexandra  and I but we did what we thought was best for you." He told me.

(Alexandra is my step mother and my father's mate)

I was in shock, I couldn't believe what he was telling me, I never thought this was what Rose was not telling me, I stared dumbfoundedly at my father for what felt like hours but it had only been minutes, wow, I was to be Lord of all packs, he was right this was a lot to take in, but I didn't hate him or my stepmother.

"I don't hate either of you, I understand why you didn't tell me, but I can't help but feel slightly betrayed." I told him.

"I can understand that." He replied.

I got up and paced the office trying to get this all to sink in, the moon goddess had chosen Rose and I to lead all the packs. It was a huge responsibility but I was sure we could do it.

I had a guardian, wow.

"Alex they are on their way here." I heard my father say.

I nodded but continued to pace. Twenty minutes later someone knocked the door and then entered I looked round to see Alpha Fall standing by my father.

"They are outside, waiting for you to be ready." Alpha Fall said.

I nodded and took a deep calming breath and pulled my shoulders back.

"Let them in." I said.

Rose walked in first and came to stand by my side, she grabbed my hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze, then Maisey walked in followed by a man that looked much like her, who I assumed was Demitri my guardian.

It's ok Alex, I am not going anywhere I am going to stand right here. I heard Rose's beautiful voice say.

"We will leave the four of alone." My father said as he and Alpha Fall left.

"I guess your father told you everything?" Rose asked out loud looking at me and then Demitri.

"Yes he did, at first it was a lot to take in but now it all makes so much sense."I told her and then turned my attention to Demitri.

"It is nice to finally meet you, Alex, Rose and Maisey have told me a lot about you and it will be an honour to be your guardian." Demitri stated.

"I am honoured to have you as my guardian, from what I heard of you, from these two we are much alike and it will be fun getting to know one another" I told him.

He nodded.

"Maisey would you be so kind as to show Demitri his room?" Rose asked.

She smiled and nodded leaving Rose and I alone in the office. I pulled her to me and kissed her with everything I had, I wanted her so badly that it hurt but I knew that she was not ready especially after what Gerrad did to her.

She moved her hands down my body and slid her hands under my shirt, and started to claw at my eight pack, she knew what that did to me, I felt myself harden, god she was playing with fire.

I pulled back and looked at her, she smiled at me feigning innocence, you are such a tease love I told her, she just smiled and winked at me and walked out of the office, I didn't follow her, I needed to calm myself down first.

Once Alex junior disappeared I went in search of Rose following her scent to my room, I nocked the door and entered, she was lying on the bed sleeping peacefully, she was so beautiful. I was beyond blessed to have her, I knew that even after what I did she still loved me and had forgiven me, and I would spend the rest of my life making sure she knew what she meant to me.
