Rose's POV

After I left my father's office I regained my composure and stood at the back of the room. Everyone left a little while after I came in, I tried to follow but Mai shook her head at me for staying.

Alex started pacing the room looking directly at me, he did't approach me which I don't thankful for.

"I love you. Always have and always will. There is nor will there ever be anyone else for me." He told me.

I didn't answer instead I just stared at the floor. He slowly moved closer to her and the closer he got the harder it was for me not to reach out and grab him. When he got within touching distance of me he stopped and waited for me to look at him.

It felt like forever before I found the strength to looked at him, when I did treatrous tears whelled up in my eyes. He tried to reach out through our bond but I my walls up I couldn't let him in.

"I'm sorry for what I did. I should have comforted you but I was so mad at myself for not seeing the signs, you shouldn't of had to go through it alone. Please forgive... Please baby, I cannot live without you." He begged.

"You will. You'll forget all about me, you'll see. I told him and left the room closing the door behind me.

I had to get out of there before I did something he would regret. I went back to the cottage and sat and cried.

Oh my beautiful butterfly... I heard his a voice, a voice I hadn't heard properly is years... I missed him and the others so much. Kodi... yes princess it's me. Your son needs his father just as much as you need him. If you walk away now not only will your little boy die but so will Alex and you will never be happy nor will you ever have another child.

He was always right and I knew that but I couldn't drag Alex down with me again. You never dragged him or anyone else down nor will you ever. You are stronger than you realize. You will see. Go to him, talk to him. He needs you more than you know. I felt him fade away.

I slowly opened our bond and the wave of his emotions hit me like a tidal wave. Where are you? I didn't want to hunt around for him in case I ran into someone.

His relief hit me hard. My office.
Don't leave. I grabbed the scan photo from the side and hurried to his office. I didn't hesitate to go straight in, he was waiting for me.

"I'm sorry for shutting you out, I'm sorry for believing the voices, I'm sorry for everything. I forgive you and I hope you can forgive me." I told him shaking.

"You have nothing to be sorry for my love. I just wish you would let me hold you." He pleaded.

"I need to tell you something and I don't want you freak out." I told him.

Drawing the scan photo out of my pocket and placed it in front of him. He picked it up and stared at it for a minute. I waited for him to react.

"You're... You're pregnant?" He asked in disbelief.

I nodded waiting for him to get angry. I didn't notice that he had moved round the table and was stood in front of me. He knelt down in front of me. Can I? I knew what he was asking, I nodded and he gently lifted my top and leant forward and placed his hands gently on my bump.
