I need to go for a run to clear my head but most of all I need to go see if what I have been hearing is true. I climbed outof bed pulled out my notebook and ripped out a page to leave a note for Alex.

Dear Alex,
I have gone for a run alone there are a few things that I need to clear up before I can even contemplate even finishing the mating process with you. I will call for you if I needed you but other than that none of you not even Maisey is to try and talk with me.

I pulled my side of the bed up and placed the note on my pillow, I grabbed my clothes and changed and so's not to disturb everyone else, I walked over to my window, opened it and climbed out of it and shut it behind me and jumped of the ledge transforming as I went, once on the ground I took off at a fast speed, I checked for the perimeter guards and saw that they were not there meaning they were switching with their replacements, I left our territory and made it into no man's land with no fuss.

I knew where I had to go, I found the small house that had been built far into the woods, I transformed back and walked up to the house. I heard a child's voice and couldn't help but frown, it was ture Beth did have a child...

I nocked on the door and waited for it to open, when Beth opened it she looked rather shocked to see me standing there.

"What are you doing here Rosetta?" She asked.

"I had heard rumours of a child and had to come see for myself." I told her.

She nodded her headed and allowed me into her home.

"Lucias come here please, there is someone here I want you to meet." She called out.

Moments later a little boy around the age of 3 came into the room, he was the spitting image of Alex but so were his brothers. I gasped at how similar they were, I felt my heart constrict with pain as I looked at the boy.

"Is, is he, you know, Alex's?" I stuttered.

"No, he is my mate's, but my mate did not want me and thinks that I lost him..." She told me sadly.

"Who is your mate Beth?" I asked her.

"Eric." She burst into tears.

I hugged her tightly and held her until she calmed down enough to speak, Lucias just stood in the door way staring at us. I beckoned him over and wrapped him in a hug too. He giggled happily. And when I let him go he walked back into what must be his room.

"I'm sorry about what happened before with Alex and all, I have missed you so much." She told me sadly.

"It's ok Beth I forgive you, but I want you to do one thing for me and I'm not taking no for an answer." I told her.

"What's that?" She asked.

"Pack up yours and Lucias' stuff because you are coming home with me, no man's land is on place to raise a child especially on your own." I told her.

I could tell she was worried about going back after all these years, but I knew she wanted to. I helper her pack their stuff and helped her carry Lucias, we both changed into our wolves and took turns carrying him.

When we were at the border we changed back and with the bags on our backs and me carrying Lucias we walked towards the small cottage that had been built a few years ago for a girl who's family abused her but she had found her mate and moved to his pack.

I helped her put all her stuff away and set up the rooms while there I told my father what was happening. Father, I found Beth and it was true she has a son named Lucias, his father is her mate who rejected her and told her to get rid of the child, I have moved her into the small cottage. Please do not tell anyone she is here yet. I told him. Okay love make sure they are safe. He told me.
