Chapter 35

Rose's pov

After everything was set up at the cottage Beth and Maisey left to go back to the pack house. I told them I'd be over later to see Mikey.

I wondered round the cottage and made my way to the babies room it was adjacent to mine.

I raised my shirt to look at my stomach there was a small bump forming I smiled down at it.

I left the cottage and headed back to the house. When I got there Alex came staright over and wrapped his arms around me. I froze at his touch, I knew if he got too close he'd feel the bump.

"I'm so sorry I yelled at you baby, I'm sorry I growled. I don't hate you. I love you. Please don't leave me. I need you." He told me.

I hated hearing him so vulnerable but it was better this way. He doesn't need a broken mate. I'll tell him about the baby soon but not right now. I pulled his arms from around me and moved away from him and looked at Beth and Maisey to make sure they knew to keep him away from me.

I have to get away from here and I don't plan on coming back, he has his ability to fid another mate, he'll find someone better. I have to go alone, I don't want to hurt Maisey, she has worked so hard to gain her guardianship but it is for the best I will not take her away from her mate and family.

I will go tonight, when everyone is asleep. Mikey and Marc will be the hardest to leave behind but this is for the best.

''Mikey, is mum and dad around?'' I asked.

''They're in th study.'' He told me.

I tured to head to the study when Alex grabbed my arm but I quickly yanked it away and snarled at him.

Maisey and Beth blocked him from me so he couldn't grab me again.

''Get out of my way, NOW!'' he growled at them.

''She doesn't want you near her. You made it very clear to her, now she is making it clear to you. You will have to kill both of us to get to her.'' Maisey growled back.

I refused to look back at anyone in the room and walked to the study an knocked on the door.

''Who is it?'' My father asked.

''It's me, can I come in please...?'' I asked.

The door opened and I entered the room still with my head down.

"You never say please lik that?" My mother asked.

My father shut and locked the study door, he knew there was something wrong, and knew since no one else came in with me that it was important.

I raised my head slowly tears streaming down my face. My mother tried to reach for me but I tepped back so she couldn't touch me.

"Rose, what is it?" My father asked concered.

"What I am about to tell you no one can know, actually, you might want to call Alpha Colin and Luna Alexandra." I told him.

He looked at me but said nothing. He went back to his desk and called Alpha Colin. We waited for him and Luna Alexandra to arrive, they knocked the door and my father unlocked and opend the door for them. They came in concern eteched on their faces. He shut and locked it behind them.

'Thank you both for coming at such short notice." My father told them.

"As I was telling my parents, what I am about to tell you no one can know. I know this is very blunt but it is the only way I know." I told them.

"Rose please just tell us." My mother said.

"First of all I am pregnant..." I said sadly.

"Thats's great news." My mother and Luna Alexandra said in unison.

I looked down at the floor again.

"Does Alex know?" Alpha Colin asked.

I shook my head.

"Rose, there is something you aren't telling us. And from your please earlier I am guessing it isn't goood." My Father said.

I couldnh't look at him or anyone else in the room, I knew what I was about to say wold destroy everyone not just them.

"I'm leaving... And I'm not coming back, Maisey and Beth know about the baby so does Mikey, I have a scan picture for him to keep and one for Alex. I am not bringing anyone with me, not even Mai, she is needed here. I'll be going tonight when everyone is asleep, and I will be severing all bonds." I told them quietly.

I waited for my father to tell me I was stupid and that I was not going anywhere but no one spoke. I looked and saw all four of them staring at me dumbfounded.

"Papa?" I asked cautiously.

"Will you stay in cotact and send us pictures?" Luna Alexandra asked breaking the silence.

I nodded still waiting for my father to speak.

"You know this will destroy him?" My father asked slowly.

"No Papa, it won't. He has the ability to find another and I'm pretty sure he already has." I told him.

"You know there is a risk that you could all die, including the baby." My Mother said.

I nodded.

"Why Rose, why?" My Fathered asked sadly.

"I'm sorry Papa. I wish there was another way but I've tried for so long... I am mentally damaged and a Lord Alpha needs a strong Lady Luna. And I am not." I told him tears streaming down my face.

He reached out his arms and this time I went into them. He gently rubbed m back like he used to when I was little.

"My baby girl, I'm gonna miss you." He told me.

My mum came over and joined us, she was shaking from the force of the tears and tremers wracking her body. My father let go of me and wrapped his arms around her. I looked over to see Alpha Colin holding Luna Alexandra who was also shaking from crying. I walked over to the both of them and bowed my head in respect to them.

"I really am sorry. Promise me you will look after Marc for me, this will be hard on him. This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do." I told them

Luna Alexandra pulled away from Alpha Colin and wrapped her arms around me.

"I will do my best to comfort him and Alex. Just promise you will look after yourself." She told me.

"I will" I told her.

She nodded. Alpha Colin just smiled sadly and nodded to me then wrapped his arms back around Luna Alexandra.

"I'm gonna to go back to everone" I told them.

I turned and unlocked the door, I took one last look behind me then opened the door and left.
