Rose's pov:

I woke up in Alex's room, I had been far to tired to go anywhere else, being near him was all I wanted, I could feel his warm, strong arms around me and I smiled.

I tried getting out from his hold but he just pulled me even closer to him but he didn't wake, I turned myself in his arms so I was facing him, only then did I notice he only had his boxer shorts on and I had one of his shirts on, it didn't bother me that he had obviously changed me.

I ran my index finger over his lips and down and his neck and leaned in and kissed him, he hummed in response and opened his eyes.

"Good morning beautiful." He said and kissed me again.

"Good morning yourself." I said.

I wanted nothing more than to lay here with him for the whole day but I knew he and Demitri needed to get to know each other and spend time together to build up their bond. I got up out of bed and walked into the bathroom and did my business and walked back in to find Alex leaning against the wall.

He came and stood in front of me and started kissing me and then moved his lips down my my neck until he reached my mark then he began kissing and sucking the mark causing me to moan, he growled in response, I dragged my hands along his back using my nails to scratch it he moaned into my neck, I could feel his not so little friend poking against my stomach.

I knew what me scraping my nails across his stomach and back did to him and I loved that only I had that affect on him, he began to lead us back to bed and he turned us around so that my back was facing the bed and when we got to its edge my legs hit the bed and he laid me down in the bed and was on top, his hands were travelling along my body, he slid both his hands under the shirt I was wearing and I arched into his touch, he grabbed both my boobs and began massaging them causing me to moan.

He knew what skin to skin contact did to mates, I couldn't concentrate, my head was spining. After a while I flipped us over so I was on top, I dragged my nails down his chest resulting in his groaning in pleasure, I continued down his body until I reached the tent in his boxers, his eyes were black with lust, I slowly ran my hand over his dick causing him to buck his hips, I could tell he was trying to control himself but it wasn't working very well.

I knew when to stop before he lost complete control and his wolf Xavier took over, Skylar wanted nothing more than to complete the mating process but I wasn't ready not after Gerrad, as much as I wanted to complete the mating process I was just scared. I need to talk with my mother she is the only person who would understand my reasons and she would be able to help me to overcome my fear.

I pulled away from Alex and got up and grabbed my bag that I had brought with me it had a spate set of clothes in, I walked into the bathroom and locked the door behind me, I turned on the shower and climbed in, I heard the door handle rattle and heard Alex trying to get in.

"Come on Rose open the door, I need a shower too." He said.

"No Alex, wait your turn I will not share a shower with you." I told him.

I didn't hear his response because I tuned him out, I finished in the shower and dried myself and changed into my clothes and brushed my hair. When I was done I unlocked the door and walked out of the bathroom and straight past Alex who was sat on the bed.

"I'll see you later, maybe, you and Demitri need to spend time together and get to know each other, I am going back home and Maisey is coming with me. I need to think about some things, I promise not to leave my father's territory." I said.

Before he could reply I left and walked down stairs and into the kitchen to wait for Maisey. We are leaving. I need to talk to my mother. I told her and as I turned round she was stood beside me.

We walked out of the house and made it back to my house within 5 minutes, I walked in and walked around the house looking for my mother. I close the bond with Maisey and connected with my mother. Mum, where are you, we need to talk? I said. In my office, come right in. She said.

"She's in her office." I told Maisey.

She nodded and we made our way to my mother's office and walked in, she looked up from her desk and watched us as we both sat in the chairs opposite her after Maisey shut the door.

"What can I do for you?" She asked.

"Well as you know I let Alex mark me but after what happened with Gerrad I am terrified to take it any further, I know Alex is my mate and wouldn't do anything like that but I still don't know. I want to, goddess knows I do but I can't bring myself to, it's almost as if I can't." I told her.

"After such a truma I am not suprised that you feel like that but as you said yourself, Alex is your mate and wouldn't do that to you, but I understand your fear, have you told Alex how you feel?" She asked me.

I shook my head.

"No I just tried not to let it get to me but this morning, it got almost to that point and I just stoped and shut him out completely." I told her shakily.

"He has a right to know Rose, he is the only person that can help you over come those fears. Why do you shut him out? "She asked.

"Because I feel like a failure. I feel like I shouldn't feel like this, that I should be greatful he even wants to be near me at all." I told her crying.

Maisey wrapped her arms around me giving me comfort.

"You are not a failure, don't you ever think that, I will always want you baby, no matter what, I wish you would have told me all of this instead of me having to follow you and ease drop." Alex said suprising me.

I looked up at him with tear filled eyes shaking uncontrollably, he crouched down in front of me and grabbed both my hands in his. He picked me up from the chair and carried me to my room and laid me down taking off both of our shoes before climbing in with me he covered us over with the blanket and held me as I cried, I curled into his chest and held on to his shirt as tightly as I could he whispered words of love and comfort to me the whole time.

After 2 hours of crying I passed out from exhaustion and when I woke up he was still there, I had feared that he would leave but no he had stayed he kept his arms around me, I snuggled into him, he placed gentle kisses all over my face.

"I love you Rose, no matter what. I will wait however long you want, you are everything to me. I do not care that what happened, happened, you are mine and I will spend every moment for the rest of our lives showing you just how much you mean to me." He told me.

"I love you so much Alex and have done since the day we first met, I just wish that I could give you what you want, no need but I can't. If you are willing to help me I am willing to try and get over this. You are the only person in this universe that I want." I told him.

"I will always, always be there to help you in any way I can in everything you do." He said. "Now rest my love, you need it I will be here when you wake up. I promise." He said.

I felt my eyes close of their own accord and I drifted off into a peaceful sleep knowing that I was in the arms of the man I loved.
