Chapter 39

Rose's POV

I looked down at him and saw him smiling up at me and I felt the fear slip away. We were going to be ok, we'll get through this together.

"Guess we'll have to tell our parents I'm no longer leaving. They will be happy." I told him smiling.

"They can wait. Right now I just want to hold you and fall asleep with you." He said.

I nodded and he stood up slowly and took my hand and together we walked up to our room.

"Our cottage is ready for us when we are ready, Beth and Maisey helped me get it ready." I whispered.

"We can move in whenever you want love." He said kissing my head.

We reached our room and he opened the door and he followed me in. He got out a clean t-shirt and pair of boxers and handed them to me, he remembered I loved sleeping in his clothes.

We changed and climbed into bed. I felt him tense and heard his thoughts, he was struggling to keep his control which made me giggle. You can. I won't stop you. I told him smiling

Not tonight love. We both need to rest. But I will hold you to it later he winked at me. I giggled and snuggled closer, he wrapped his arms around me gently and laid his hands back on my bump.

We drifted off to sleep and for the first time in a long time I actually slept and when I woke I felt him beside me. I was so glad he hadn't left I was worried it was all a dream. I'm not going anywhere love he told me kissing my neck.

I purred which made him kiss my neck even more. I couldn't hold back the moan that escaped my mouth and I wasn't ashamed of it either. He is my mate and my son's father.

Before things could progress any further there was a small knock on the door. Pulling away from him I straightened my T-shirt.

"Come in" I called knowing full well who it was from his scent.

Mikey opened the door and poked his head round the corner.

"Wose, I don't want you to go, please don't leave me." He cried.

He has yet to notice Alex beside me. I climbed out of bed and hurried to him and picked him up in my arms.

"I'm not going anywhere baby boy, I promise." I told him whipping his tears away.

"You mean you're staying?" He asked his voice full of hope.

Alex got up and stood behind me and wrapped his arms around us both.

"Yes I'm staying." I told him and kissed his head.

He smiled up at me and Alex.

"Thank you Alex." he whispered.

Alex unwrapped his arms from around us and shook Mikey's hair, I just smiled at him and carried him out the room and down stairs into the kitchen. I put him on the counter top and walked around the kitchen preparing breakfast.

Everyone started piling in and sat waiting for me to finish. When I was done I put a bit of everything on mine, Alex's and Mikey's plates and let everyone else get theirs.

Nice hickey Rose Maisey said. I was so confused then I looked at her and she tapped her neck then pointed at me. I looked over at Alex and saw him smirking.

I just shook my head at him. Today Lucas and Mitilda are back. We were all excited to have them back. After we finished eating I went back upstairs and got myself dressed and headed back downstairs.
