Beth's pov:

I know what it is I must do and I know that no one will like it. But I will do it.

Eric and Tyler are both fully trained they can take on any Fenfir wolf and our packs can fight them too.

Today is the day, the day we face the Fenfir pack.

"You ready?" Kyra asks me.

"As I'll ever be. Do me favour?" I ask.

"Anything." She tells me.

"No matter what happens make sure Eric can't get to me." I tell her.

"Okay." She replies.

Rose's pov:

It has been 6 months since I last cut, but I couldn't help it. I started cutting when Kodi, Mia, Scorpio, Alirise and Dominca died, Kodi, Mia, Scorpio and I were best friends since birth but Scorpio was killed by people he thought were his friends, Mia was his mate and killed herself to be with him and Kodi was killed while protecting me. Mia and Kodi were twin brother and sister and had younger identical twin sister's Alirise and Dominca but they were killed by rouges when they were five I was all they had their mum and dad were killed not long after they were born and I failed to protect them.

Maisey knew them and knows I used to cut but now I've started again and I can't tell her or Alex, I promised him I'd stop and I did but I just can't help but feel like I should've been able to stop this all from happening.

Love your over thinking things again, please talk to me. Alex says through our mind link as he lays beside me. I can't... I tell him. Baby I can feel your pain, what's wrong? He asks. I'm sorry Alex, I failed. I tell him breaking down into tears showing him my wrists.

He growls which makes me flinch and cry harder.

"I'm sorry." I say again.

I get up and leave the room still crying, I barely make it to the spare room before I collapse. Mai I need you. I say. She finds me and picks me off the floor and carries me into the room.

"Rose what's wrong? Please tell me." She whispers.

"I, I c, cut a, and A, Alex i, is, m, mad, h, he, g, growled, a, at, m, me." I stutter.

"Oh Rose, it'll be okay, I bet I know why you did it, you blame yourself for this just like you blame yourself for Mia and Kodi and Alirise and Dominca. Sweetie none of that or this is your fault." She tells me.

"He h, hates me." I whimper.

And there was something I was hiding from him and everyone else...

"Mai? I have something to tell you but you can't tell anyone especially not Alex." I tell her.

"What? What's wrong?" She asks worried.

"I'm pregnant, Mai..." I tell her.

She hugs me. And whispers "Congratulations."

Beth's pov:

I am ready. They will not get my family.

-------------------2 hours later--------------------

Everyone is in place, waiting for them to fight. The Fenfir Alpha's son's mate is with us, her name is Katherine or Kat for short, she and her mate Derrick are communicating through their mind link.

Soon we see them. The Alpha breaks off from his pack and stands facing us.

"I am Alpha Nicolas Rover. And I am here for what is rightfully mine. Bring me the two half Fenfir females that you are hiding."

I take a deep breath and step forward as they approach, I look the Alpha square in the eyes.

"My name is Bethany Howard and I am one of the females you are looking for. And I wish to bargin with you." I say.

"What can you offer me?" He asks.

"I will go with you, and be mate to whomever you wish on the condition that you leave my sister and all the other wolves here alone. I have already bared a pup so it proves I am able to reproduce." I say.

"Deal!" He announces.

What are you doing! Kyra yells at me. I am protecting my family. Good bye Kyra, Tell Eric to get our son and tell him mama loves him. I tell her.

Eric's pov:

No! She can't do this, I won't allow it. I launch forward ready to charge but am held back by Alex.

"What the hell! Let me go Alex! That is my mate you cannot expect me to sit back and let her go!" I growl.

"I'm sorry Eric but I'm doing what she has asked." He tells me sadly.

I watch her walk away but as she reaches the forest line she drops to floor and I feel her heart stop. She's gone, no she can't be.

I lose all control, my mate is dead. All the wolves break out into fights and I head straight for the Alpha and make sure to torture him. Kat and Derrick are fighting with us. When the Alpha is dead I make my way over to Beth and curl around her protectively.

Derrick is alpha now and he delcares peace between the packs but I don't care I no longer care about anything.

Kyra tries to approach but I growl at her. But she is not fased.

"Cole I am not here to hurt her, she's my twin sister, please." She pleads with me.

I nod my wolf head but don't move, she crouches down and stokes Beth's cheek.

"Eric there is someone here who can help Beth. She's a witch and says she knows why her heart stopped." Rose tells me.

"My name is Mitilda, Beth came to me a few days ago asking for my help, she asked me to cast a spell on her to stop her heart when she left your territory, she knew that you would never agree to it so she told no one and made sure that you could not get to her before her heart stopped. I am here to reverse the spell but you have to move from her." The very small lady in front of me says.

I move slowly, and wait. She whispers what sounds like a load of rubbish to me but after a few moments Beth begins to breathe and soon she opens her eyes.

"Did it work?" She asks horsely.

"Yes dear it did." Mitilda tells her.

She turns to Kyra and smiles.

"Hey sis" She says.

"Hey? Hey? Is that all you've got to say? You scarred me!" Kyra yells.

"I'm sorry sis but I had to do it. But I'm here and not going anywhere." Beth tells her.

They hug and then Tyler picks her up and carries her away.

Beth reaches out brushes my fur which makes my wolf purr in delight.

You scarred me baby, I thought I'd lost you. I tell her. I'm sorry baby. I'm here and I'm staying now transform back and let's get inside. She tells me.

I transform back and pick her up and carry her inside.
