Following me endlessly

Letting me under your moonlight
Giving me hope that this world is more than it seems
Showing me the beauty of this darkened world

The thoughts on my mind

The only thing that has power over the darkness
Let me follow you for eternity
We can disappear as the sun begins to rise
I'll be by your side because you've always been by mine
You have given me hope by showing up beautifully
A greater understanding by just listening silently
You Moon,
Have given me more than I deserve
Companionship that I can never let go
