I'll replay the words we said
I'll replay everything
Just not the good parts
I can't stay hoping when things are different
I can't stay wishing things could be different
So our moments, the ones that made me smile
Will disappear until i Can finally think about you without my heart aching
I'll look at you and feel fine
The power you have over me will soon fade away because
I can't keep caring when I don't feel it in return
I can't stay hoping when I'm not met in the middle
I can't stay wishing.
So I'll only focus on the negative
And build myself up
I may seem pathetic for not being able to yet
Pathetic for still writing about you
But pathetic as I am, I'm trying to change with the way things are now
I'll keep focusing on all the negative things if I must
Until I feel okay again.
