ᴛᴜʙʙᴏ pov:

I look past Ranboo and turn my head to the window. The view was fucking awesome man, it was of the city at night, sparkling lights, cars passing, the moon in the sky, it was outstanding. Astonishing, even. He looked nervous, despite the fact we've known each other quite a while and we're dating. So I had the break the ice.

"What'cha you getting boo?" I looked down at the surprisingly sophisticated menu. Well, not too surprising, this place was fancy. The table cloth was white with lace trim at the ends, the silverware wasn't even silver, it was gold, and not to mention the expensive looking décor in the center of the table. And the chandelier looking down at us like a bird watches it's prey ready to strike. It brought a feeling to the atmosphere to the restaurant.

"Umm, maybe," He looked down. "Spaghetti?" I feel as though he meant it as a statement, and not as a question, but it didn't come off in the way he intended.

"That's it?" I ask. I don't mean to be mean, I just expected he would need much more nutrition for his tall body.

"Well, uh, I don't eat- much,"  He quieted when he said much as if it were a slur or something.

"Oh-oh I am SO sorry for that if you have an eating disorder or something like that,"

"No, Bee you're okay, I just don't like eating because whenever I eat, I try to eat more for energy, but when I try it feels like I'm gonna throw up or something, and everything just gets... less appetizing." (not me projecting)

"Oh, Boo, have you ever told anyone about this?"

"I told my friend, the one that was mean to me, but he told me it was normal, and if anything I was just playing it out to be a big deal, when it's nothing and I was just being a baby,"

"Boo, I told you that that person is shit before, and all your feelings are valid, no matter what anyone else tells you. So believe me when I say, I care for you, not only as a friend, but also as your boyfriend." I smile warmly.

"Thank you," He smiled back, the mood lightened. Maybe the chandelier wasn't the reason of that off feeling. Huh. I looked down at the menu.

"Well, on a lighter note, I'm getting a Vegetable club sandwich, and potato wedges. And if you want, we can split a cheese cake 50/50." I grinned.

"More like 75/25," He joked. I giggled and after a few seconds of talking the waitress appeared.

"Welcome to the Clocktower; I'll be your waitress for today, my name is Silvia, what can I get you both?" She said this premade speech that was way too much for me to handle but I managed to respond.

"Well I'll get a Veggie sandwich and potato wedges as a side, and he'll have spaghetti without the garlic bread," I smiled.

"Anything for drinks?" She said with a professional voice.

"Two waters please," Ranboo piped up. I smiled at him speaking up, I'm proud of him for that.

"Okay, your food with be here shortly, enjoy your time at clocktower!"

"Thank you Silvia," I smiled.

"You're very welcome," She returned as she walked off to the kitchen, passing other waiters and waitresses saying the premade opening line.

As soon as she was out of the room I said, "Boo! You actually spoke!" I smiled.

"Wow, thanks Tubbo," He said sarcastically.

"Oh shit, I did not mean it like that," I said coming to the realization of how that might seem. We both laughed when I figured it out.

We continued talking about things and I started realizing how he looked. Every action and every little thing he did brought a smile to my face. He was so cute and I couldn't believe how other people don't instantly fall in love. Well, it is a good thing because it means that he's all mine. The food came but we continued talking and blabbing away, but in the end we did end up eating it and it was delicious.

"Hey boo, who are your friends?" I asked suddenly. The only reason I asked this question was because of Aimee.

He seemed pretty shocked at this and to be honest, I was also kind of confused why I had said this.

"Well there's you, Tommy, Drista, Aimsey, and the other people at our lunch table." He smiled.

"Wait, who's aimsey?" I asked. I know who she is, I just want him to describe them to me. So I know how he really feels about her.

"You don't know Aimsey?" He inquired. "Well she's really short, funny, a cheerleader, and she's welsh."

"Hmm, she sounds... nice," I winced.

"Who were you calling?" I asked, the smallest bit of rage filling my voice.

"What?" He asked innocently. Was he faking this? Or does he really not remember?

"You were on a call, you told someone on a call you loved them," He looked taken aback. This doesn't make sense. We weren't even dating back then so why am I mad, why did I drive him out of my home back then? It's like I was there as a ghost, watching someone else take over my body. I didn't mean to come off so aggressive, it just happened. I didn't want our first date to be so... like this. I just wanted answers. It's like that saying, Curiosity killed the cat. He might hate me for this.

"...oh- That was Aimsey," he said shrinking into himself. "But that was in a friendly way!" He objected me.

"You sure?" I asked. Violently. I only wanted this to be casual. Why am I so rude!

"Yes! I'm sure. I have proof!" He lashed back. It hurt. I know I must be hurting him, but that isn't me! That's a ghost possessing me to be a demon. That isn't me! That demon isn't me! He's lashing back at something else and I'm suffering for it. I just want to cry.

"What is it then!" We were definitely drawing attention to ourselves right now.

"She. Is. Lesbian.  She has a girlfriend Tubbo." He said this with venom in his voice as to make up for him not shouting. He doesn't want to draw attention to us. He looked away from me and that is what hurt me the most. I had just hurt the one I loved most. The fact 'I' had just hurt the one I love most, hurt me more than his words did. Of course, that also hurt, but definitely not as much. I was on the brink of tears in public, and I didn't want to cry in front of Boo or anybody else in the restaurant. First of all I don't want to ruin people's dinner, and secondly, they don't need to know what's happening. So I left the table and went to the bathroom. And I cried in the fancy stall. For seven agonizing minutes until I heard someone walk in. I got really scared for a minute, but it wasn't Ranboo thank god. It was a waiter. He presumably heard my sniffling and he knocked on the door.

"Is everything okay in there?" He didn't sound professional, like he was being forced to say it by the manager, he sounded genuine. He also sounded familiar.

"Ye-yeah."  I sniveled.

"I can tell you're not, I'm Wilbur, do you need help?"

"W-wil?"  I asked.

"Toby?!?" I opened the door and it was Wilbur! Tommy's older brother! I didn't know he worked here.

"What happened?"

I explained Ran and I's relationship starting from the very beginning. I told him how history was repeating itself. How I got mad at him the first time about the same thing. I told him how I felt like a mere spectator in the fight, I told him how dumb I felt being mad at him for the same thing as last time.

"Wilbur, I feel like a cat."

"What?"

"Curiosity killed the cat."
