She knows you heard her, staging music murder.

"Mommy Mommy!"  The little boy ran up to his mom, tugging on her pant leg.

"Yes honey?" She responded. She always did. As she turned around to see her son, the sun and wind seemed to perfectly play it's part. It's part in making her look like a goddess.

"I wanna be just like you when I grow up!" The boy exclaimed. Jumping up and down,  a clear indication to the mother he wanted to be picked up. And so she did. The goddess like mother bent down, picking him up.

"Really? I'm flattered," She said lovingly, "Maybe you'll even find a nice girl to marry."

The boy seemed confused. He'd always thought that was too far in the future to worry about.  Why would she be thinking about that?

"Why are you confused my dear? Don't you want a wife?" The deity was now confused as well, her mind searching for answers.

"Oh. Is that it?" She mused her brain reaching a possible reason why his small brain would be confused.  In her brain, the only thing that mattered was getting a loving spouse.

Of the other gender.

"You think another man  could keep you company for the rest of your life?" She hissed at the thought of her son being gay. The idea mortified her.

"W-what?" The little boy was so confused. He had only thought he was too young. Where was all of this coming from?

"What, embarrassed I found you out?" She laughed. Cackled almost. It scared the child.

She put down- no dropped the child. Good thing they weren't in public, only the backyard.

"Don't tell me my  son is gay!  What's next, 'Oh mom I  think I want to be a girl!' Like hell you do!" She screamed, pointed a harsh finger at him. He clutched the arm that he fell on, it was either bleeding or the floor was wet. Was it even the floor? He couldn't look away to check. The way her gaze was; it kept him from looking away.

"Come back to me when you learn the truth! Come back when you find a girl. I know no boy will ever make you as happy. So live your life thinking you're "gay" or that it's valid at all! Don't come crawling back to me!" And with that, the goddess, seemed much less like goddess, and more of a devil. Evil. Satanic. And unwelcoming.

She left. Leaving the boy on the ground. To fend for himself. To fight his own demons. To provide for him and his family. This isn't what leads to a bright future.

This is what leads to dark one. A dull one. And most definitively: a short one.

So this is what lead him to it.

The water cruelly eroding his clothes. His face against the dirt.  He never thought that his life could be so... impractical. Who would ever waste anything to make him. Just a thorn on everyone's side. A waste of oxygen. A waste of resources.

Just an annoyance. So maybe that's he fell. He didn't mean  to jump. The wind only pushed him off. But still, he felt almost untouchable. Like he had fulfilled his purpose.

His story was never fully told- yes. His life never fully lived to it's potential. But yet- he felt happy. Happy it was over? Happy no one cared enough to stop him from listening to the voices. The only voice that ever promised him endless apologies of paradise? They seemed only in his head. But he needed to try it. He needed to know.  Anything would be better than being on this Earth. Heaven? Hell? Purgatory? They all seem to be finer choices. So what if it isn't his endless paradise awaiting him?

He would be happy.

Yeah, that's  what this was for. Happiness.

It seemed like a valid answer to the wind pushing him. Maybe it just wanted to lead him to his own personal Nirvana.
