The whistle goes off, signaling kick off as Rin passes the ball to Bachira. You stay in place, examining the field carefully and that's when you notice Aryu. "Down the wing? Aryu?" You whisper to yourself, you quickly go after him since well, he is the one you're matched with.
"Blunt Bangs!" You hear Barou yell as you let out a slight laugh.
"I wonder where they get these nicknames from!" You think to yourself as you stare at Aryu in the eyes.
"Nice one, Barou! Now we can steal it." Isagi thinks while he runs towards Bachira. But in an instant Bachira kicks the ball, not bothering to look at Isagi. "Eh?! A no-look pass?"
"It got through! Aryu-kun!" Bachira shouts.
"Run faster! Get it, Pinky!" Barou yells, putting pressure on you that you didn't even have before.
Everything seems to go in slow motion for you as you look over at Aryu, and look down. "It looks like he's going to get it with his leg...but there's no way he can reach it from here! Ehhh, no time to think! I guess I'll have to do this!" You move quickly as your hands touch the ground before you do a flip and catch the ball with your feet, doing another flip and landing the ball in front of you.
You hear Aoshi let out a shriek which almost made your ears pop. "What was that?!" He screams while you turn around, now facing the other team's goal.
"They're all coming at me so fast! Even my own teammates! Talk about greedy... Although, the only one who can even get near me could be Number One. Ah, and Aryu. That screaming guy is strong but he doesn't seem that fast." You take a close look at every single one of your opponents.
You look around before seeing Nagi, he seems like he's waiting for your past and he is the closest to the goal. You look him in the eye and nod while he nods back, you then kick the ball as hard as you could, hoping he'll be able to get it, even with the long range.
"Dumbass! That's too far!" Barou shouts at you.
"Dumb-?! Why is he also so mean?!" You think with shock evident on your face.
Surprisingly, Nagi gets the pass, but maybe he was a bit too slow as Rin gets the ball in an instant and begins making his way towards the goal. "It's close to his shooting range but I'm sure I'll be able to get it!" You think as you stop in front of him. He begins to move his right leg, as if he's getting ready to kick it. "No way, he's gonna shoot it from there?!" You take this chance to try to sweep the ball from under his legs but he moves to the side taking, moving the ball along with him while you end up on the ground, on your back. "A fake shot! How did I not notice that!"
