Everyone pants as you pull your shirt up, wiping the sweat off your forehead.
"In Blue Lock Building 5's first match, Team X wins 5-2." The woman on the intercom speaks.
You were happy but yet also sad, you had scored once. O.N.L.Y once! While the other score was scored by Kunigami. Nonetheless, you still felt as if that one score was an improvement.

"It was a mistake to make Isagi the center forward in the first place! In the next game, it'll just be me up top." Raichi declares and chugs down water.
"No! It should be me, we'll definitely win if I'm center forward!" Asahi exclaims.
"I'm never playing defense again, nobody can convince me." Igaguri announces.
"Losers can shut up." Raichi says as he turns towards Igaguri.
"What? Says the loser who Isagi didn't want to pass to!" Imamura exclaims after wiping his face in a towel.
"You wanna go?!" Raichi yells in Imamura's face.
"Do you?!" Imamura yells back.
Everyone begins to fight over who the ball should be passed to as you sigh. Being in a room full of shirtless, sweaty guys, fighting over a ball is not hot, at all. You sit next to Chigiri, of course, which makes things at least a bit better.
"All of you, stop it!" Kuon suddenly appears in the doorway making everyone go silent. "Do you understand the situation we're in? We're a team that's already lost once. This first selection is a five-team round robin. Only the top two teams progress." Kuon says, putting up two fingers. "Suppose all teams win two, lose two. We'd all be on six points. Which means, to advance, we have to aim higher and get seven points. That's the likely cut-off line that will decide who progresses." Kuon explains. "We're already at the point where if we lose the next game, we're done for. If we don't get serious about how we're going to win, it really will be over for us."
