Chapter 9: The Last School Year

Sebastian, Ominis and I had packed up all of our belongings. Once again we had to say good bye to our cottage. Although, now, with Ominis and I being Head Boy and Head Girl, we would have our own private space in school, and it was something we were very much looking forward to. Sebastian had already made plans to come visit and sleep over, having your own space and secret passphrases provided so many advantages. But it came with a lot of strings attached.

"I can't believe they only have room for one head boy and one head girl at school. Why not have more? It would be better for everyone, I would do great in the position if Weasley took a chance on me." Sebastian whined as the three of us got dressed in our new uniforms and robes in my new dorm room. 

"Sallow, you only got three Outstanding marks last year, and besides, I think the robe looks way better on me." Ominis said as he combed his hair.

Sebastian huffed, "Yeah like you would know Gaunt."

"Boys, boys, let us rejoice. Not only do we have free passage through almost the entire school, we have our own private space, which Sebastian can visit as long as we are not meeting with faculty or prefects, and we still have my room of requirement available to us whenever." I elbowed Sebastian on the ribs playfully and gave Ominis a peck on the cheek while I sat on the bed next to him. "Besides, I do think Ominis looks quite sexy with his head boy robes. Hand me your badge head boy," I teased in a seductive voice "I'll help you put it on."

Ominis smirked, "Hmm thank you darling, can you help me with something else before we head to the station?" He leaned in and kissed me.

"Ew!" Sebastian exclaimed "Alright you two, stop making me jealous, we should head to the station or we're going to be late for the train arrival."

"So responsible! where's is the real Sallow? " Ominis teased as he rolled his eyes. 

"Oh Seb, you don't need to be jealous, I'm happy to give you a hand as well." I winked at him mischievously.

Sebastian exhaled and rolled his eyes, "Since when are you such a tease Ophelia? This is evil. Let's go now before I rip your new robe off of you and make us all extra late."

At the station Ominis and I met with the prefects to coordinate for the student reception and transportation to Hogwarts. Sebastian hung about offering help in attempt to show up professor Weasley for not having chosen him as head boy. One could say he was a bit jealous. It made me smile, he's always been a confident fellow, this new attitude made him appear more... humble. I found it cute.

While everything got started, Ominis and I did our rounds of the great hall, Sebastian, of course, tagged along. We stopped by to say hello to Poppy, Natty, Garreth, Amit, and slightly reluctantly, Imelda. They all congratulated Ominis and I for being assigned Head Boy and Head Girl, Sebastian grunted every time. 

Once the house assignments for new students and welcoming feast were done, we helped the prefects with guiding new students to their dorms. As head boy and head girl Ominis and I had to assign shifts to the prefects for nightly watch, but we were not required to patrol unless there was an emergency. Finally, after everyone was off to bed we returned to our common room and sat by the fire.

"So, how do you feel about your first day on the job head girl?" Ominis asked, a cute but seductive smile forming on his lips.

I chuckled "It could've been worse, what about you, head boy?" I tried to make my voice sexy as I asked.

Ominis laughed at my attempt, "I'm just glad I get to do this with you, and well...it's nice to get this honor considering what everyone thinks, about, my family you know." His eyes grew a little sad.
