"Bloody hell! Tell us again, and use the scary sexy voice!" Sebastian demanded.
"This was but a minor inconvenience, I'll be seeing you around....?" I repeated.
"Wow, I can see the headlines already 'hero of Hogwarts turned evil, for love'!" He teased.
I laughed nervously and looked at Ominis who had been sitting quiet this whole time listening to what I'd done to Violet.
"Ominis are you... Are you upset with me?" Now that I'd tell them the truth I felt a bit relieved but I felt I'd disappointed Ominis.
Ominis shook his head. "No darling I'm not upset. I suppose I'm just a bit shocked...? Why didn't you tell us about your plan?"
"Well, in all honesty, I thought you might stop me if I told you about it. And well, I really wanted to punch her when I heard her giving you an ultimatum as if she's got some sort of claim on you and I... I suppose this was a bit of payback for that..." I looked away embarrassed. I sounded like a nine year old getting mad about a toy.
Sebastian however, thought this was hilarious and broke into a booming laugh, clutching his stomach as he nearly fell off the couch.
I rolled my eyes at Seb. "I'm sorry Ominis, I should've talked to you, to both of you before doing anything, I just... I hope you'll forgive me."
"Oh love, you're more than forgiven, right Ominis?" Sebastian elbowed Ominis playfully.
Ominis nodded. "There's nothing to forgive darling, I know why you acted the way you did and at least now we have some additional time to figure things out. I think if the tables were turned, I might've done the same thing, maybe I would've even been more aggressive. Thank you, for protecting us, and our relationship."
"Ha! I would've kicked any jerks ass on the spot if I heard someone take a tone with either of you." Sebastian exclaimed proudly.
"I'm sure you would've Sallow." Ominis scuffed.
I walked over to Ominis and Sebastian and wrapped my arms around both of them. Even if Violet didn't tell Ominis's parents, there were bound to be some rumors floating around with siblings and family members outside of school. We needed to figure something out as soon as possible.

The mock exams were almost deathly. With all the extra studying, extra prep work for the Yule Ball that Ominis and I had as head boy and girl, the continuing nightmares, and now the threat of Ominis's family finding out about their relationship all looming above their heads... The thought of everything made my head dizzy. This was the same reason Ominis tried to deal with this himself, but I would rather see the train before it hits me.
A week had gone by, Ominis had not received any owls from his family and every time we crossed paths with Violet she nearly ran away. I felt a bit of guilt about spooking her the way I did, but there was also a tinge of satisfaction in seeing her response to my presence.
"I insist that using some of the money I have from my inheritance to cover the dowry from Violet's family is the best option we have." Ominis stated flipping to the next page on his herbology book. The three of us were gathered in the common room studying for the last couple of mock exams.
"Well, it is a good option but what if your family gets more inflamed about the situation? or worse, ask that you return the money since it came from the family?" I insisted. Between the three of us we had some money saved from our odd jobs through out the summer. Most of that income went towards rent and living expenses however and there wasn't much on that fund. We'd been hoping to use it after school to buy a house or some land. However, getting Ominis out of this arranged engagement was far more pressing.
