If I've learned three things in my lifetime

The first is that love comes in waves

Second, love comes

Third, love

So when this love comes like waves

Don't drown

Learn to face it head on

Your beauty makes the earth rejoice

Your sadness makes the sky cry

Your heart makes the wind calm

You make God brush His shoulders off

Because he made you perfect

I know it hasn't been easy

But you are deserving of great things

And if no king hasn't said this to you queen

Let me be the one to tell you

That you are seen

I know that I can't take away your pain

But I can hold your hand

And shield you from the rain

I've seen so many people in love

But not together

And so many people are together

But not in love

If I had the opportunity to have your heart

I'd never break it

If I had the chance to wipe the tears from your face

Even to hold you and feel your warm embrace

I'd take it

Because you are deserving of a love

That never fades

The seasons may change

Time may start to dissipate

But I'm not going anywhere

I'm here to stay

The greatest love comes from the deepest of hurts

But you learn to soar

Once you're able to see that no one can cut your wings
