𝙲𝚘𝚛𝚊𝚕 𝙼𝚊𝚎 𝙼𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚎...

It's been about 3 days since River has taken me back home. Or as you can call it Hannah's home. Oh well it's still my home.

Reef wasn't so happy when I got home later than I told Hannah I would. I don't really know why. He doesn't care if I go to parties and stuff but if he finds out I'm spending the night somewhere that's not Hannah's he kind of freaks.

Reef is a bit overprotective but he kind of has to be. Knowing by the way we were raised he always has to know what guy is right and will treat me right so I don't end up how our parents did.

I kind of miss River. Oh who am I kidding I really miss him. We have been texting for the past hour now. He's so cute.

Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. I hit my head 3 times with my hand.

I close my eyes taking deep breaths of the smell of the ocean waves clashing against the sand. I haven't been able to go to my private spot in forever. I usually go daily but I haven't been because for the first summer I've been busy a lot.

I see a family of four walking their dog on the soft, wet, shore. What if that could have been us. Me, Reef, Momma, Daddy. If only my mother didn't spend her money on drugs when she needed them least.

It's not her fault. It's not her fault.

I feel a buzz on my thigh. It kind of scared me a little but not enough to make me jump. I turn the phone over and it's a text from River.

"𝙸 𝚌𝚊𝚗 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞"

What a creep. I roll my eyes and start texting back.

"𝙵𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚠𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚐𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚞𝚜?" I text back.

"𝚆𝚑𝚢 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚒𝚝𝚝𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚊𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚎?"

"𝙲𝚊𝚗 𝚊 𝚐𝚒𝚛𝚕 𝚓𝚞𝚜𝚝 𝚜𝚒𝚝 𝚋𝚢 𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚐𝚎𝚝 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎 𝚊𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚖𝚊𝚢𝚋𝚎?"

"𝚆𝚎𝚕𝚕 𝚘𝚏 𝚌𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚖𝚢 𝚙𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑. 𝚆𝚑𝚢 𝚍𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚔 𝚒𝚖 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚜𝚝𝚗𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚒𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚗𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚢𝚘𝚞." I look up to see the beautiful blue ocean looking back at my phone again.

"𝙽𝚒𝚌𝚎 𝚝𝚛𝚢 𝚐𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚞𝚜."

"𝙳𝚘𝚗𝚝 𝚌𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚖𝚎 𝚜𝚘𝚖𝚎𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚒 𝚜𝚊𝚒𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚌𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚘."

"𝚆𝚑𝚢 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚕𝚒𝚝𝚎𝚛𝚊𝚕𝚕𝚢 𝚊 𝚌𝚘𝚖𝚙𝚕𝚒𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝. 𝙿𝚕u𝚜 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚌𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚖𝚎 𝙿𝚎𝚊𝚌𝚑." I'm getting annoyed.

"𝚆𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚍𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚖𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚌𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚐𝚎𝚗𝚒𝚞𝚜?" I text him back after 1 min of sending the one before.

"𝚁𝚒𝚟𝚎𝚛." I turn off my phone laying it in my lap and close my eyes again. I keep them shut for a moment and I can hear the water clash again.

I see her there looking out to the ocean so beautifully it hurts. I wish I can just make her mine quicker than a shooting star.

Her hair is in a braid and I can only imagine how wonderful she looks when I see the other side of her head.

Me and the guys from the party were playing beach volleyball and I spotted her in "our" secret spot.
